Hello, Hello!
With summer just beginning, I felt the need to make a few posts regarding the business. Steven and I have been discussing a few things this past year. We believe, we have finally decided what we need to do moving forward.
We will NOT be hosting any events at the space in downtown Princeton during the summer months. The building is extremely hard to cool since it has so many windows, and is over 100 years old. We learned the hard way last year. We just couldn't get it comfortable enough for everyone. I refuse to charge people and them be uncomfortable. We will start hosting events there again in September.
I think we are going to use that time to do a few more things to the space.🙂
Now, regarding our venue at our home. After the Fall wedding season of 2024. We will no longer be hosting weddings at our home. This is probably not a permanent decision. Just a decision that has been made for my family at this time. I love helping brides with their big day! It has been a dream of mine since I was younger. I'm a dreamer! I dream BIG!
I'm also a goal getter and I like to set new goals for myself and our family. My newest goals are to be the best homeschooling momma (I love homeschooling) and to support my husband on his dreams! He has supported me with every ounce of his being! He hasn't complained one time.... at least not to me!😂 I want to be there for him in any way I can on his future endeavors, whatever they may be.
When we started this. It was supposed to be a hobby. I wanted something to do in my spare time. I wanted to give couples a budget based option. I believe every person deserves a beautiful wedding at an affordable price. I intended on us doing maybe 5 a year. Circumstances in our life turned it into my job, though. Something I had to do. It was no longer something I just wanted to do. When we do something. We do it with our whole heart. That can be tiring when we have multiple things going on that need our attention. I would like to eventually have concrete floors, exterior walls, bathrooms, and a kitchen area in the pavilion. If we consistently have weddings we will never be able to complete our barn, since we do everything ourselves!💪🔨⚒️
So for future reference.
•I will still be available to go and help at other venues.
•I will only host weddings for close friends or family members.
•If you want to use our car, tables, chairs etc. That can all be arranged.
I do not plan for this to be a never again situation... but more of a there are better things to come situation!
I love you all and am so grateful for all of the support I have received these past few years. You guys are amazing! I'm so thankful to our community, friends, family, my husband and kiddos.
Most importantly I'm so thankful to God. Through every hardship we have faced these past few years he has made a way for us. We have never went without! He has always had us on the path he chose for us and we will continue to be faithful to him throughout our journey.
Much LOVE Friends!🥰😘
