Door days at Fernwood Retreat! 5 years ago we had around 30 doors to take back to their original state- we had to work countless hours scraping and peeling, sanding and poly’ing!
We had finally given up after getting the bare minimum done….. (pure exhaustion mode at that point!)
We are now trying to get the remaining ones completed.
“Buy an old house they said!”

We want to highlight a GORGEOUS wedding that recently took place at Fernwood. These local families are awesome, and they did not disappoint when it came to the "fairytale wedding" for these two newlyweds. The Bride and Groom were so beautiful, as well as the entire event.

I cant decide whether my favorite picture was the first dance on the front porch, or the first married smile- so precious!!!

We had such a fun group in this past weekend for a DOUBLE wedding reception! Just so happens, this was my husband's family, so it made it even more fun and memorable! It doesn't hurt my feelings that his cousins married into one of my favorite local families!
Thank you to the 2 beautiful Couples for an amazing event! We had so much fun- and now we will be adding blackout shades just for you :)

We want to personally thank the 2021 Princeton Graduates (and parents) for hosting their beautiful reception at Fernwood!

I have to admit, after a long day at work, I arrived to the property where there were probably 75-100 vehicles in the yard, lights strung through the trees, tables and chairs on the lawn, people on the back porch and nothing but lighthearted people everywhere just enjoying the company....

I cried....

THIS is what Karla and I have worked so hard for.
To bring fellowship into our community.
Some peace in all the chaos.
A place to celebrate each other's big wins.

We can't thank EACH and EVERY customer enough!

2020 hit America hard, and like most small businesses (especially event venues) we definitely felt the economic blow...

Instead of throwing in the towel, we decided to use our downtime to our advantage, and decided it was time to get to work... AGAIN!
We have worked many hours and made another investment trying to make our property more beautiful, user friendly, and more accessible for all our customers.
We are so proud of our property, our continued upgrades, and we hope you are too!

We can't thank our past, current and future customers enough- it's through your patronage that we are able to continue to offer this place to others within our community!
