My friends Ellen and Lindsay might be surprised to read this one. I've always said if you own a small (time demanding) business, you won't make it without the support of your husband/wife, friends and family and this post proves it. Building a support system is the key to success, or at least it was for me!!

Do you own or manage a flower shop? After running our business for 34 years and finally retiring, Kevin and I hope to give you great tidbits of information to help you run your flower shop more profitably and have more fun doing it. Your feedback is welcome!

While on my retirement journey, I've been asked to possibly write a book. As many of you know, I have always loved blogging about the flower business - both to benefit other florists as well as people needing flowers for events. While searching online for inspiration, I came across this interview from 2009. As you can see from the header we have posted, Kevin and I are retiring! Thank you for 34 years of business. Although our business was for sale, it was not to be so it's time for them to kick back and relax. Because there will be no future management taking over this page, it will be shutting down. Just added to the website this pretty design called Aisle of White which includes cut succulents. Did you know that if you receive a cut succulent in floral designs, you can remove it, leave it out in the air and it will grow roots? Once it does, you can plant it!

💐Monday Morning Flowers began life as a flower delivery service - you guessed it, on Mondays! We then expanded in to daily delivery of flowers, balloons and other gift items. We moved into our current location at the Princeton Forrestal Village when the shopping mall was full (I took the last rentable space) and here I am one of the few left remaining. We've been very successful helping people send smiles through gift delivery and we can't wait to open our doors again (after Covid19) to our shoppers who come in to see our many items such as daily fresh flower specials, live plants, gourmet products, chocolate, balloons, plush and other gift items. We even carry a line of Metaphysical items such as healing crystals. In addition to delivery we do offer shipping services of our "non-perishable" items. We love buying from small independent makers. Small business is the back bone of our country.
