Kauai Photographer - Kit Furderer
Aloha & E como mai, my name is Kit Furderer and I am a professional photographer, designer and artist living on the beautiful island of Kauai in Wailua. I have over 20 years of professional experience with a classically trained background in fine arts (BFA) from Kennesaw State University with a concentration in oil painting & film photography. I started my photography career as an action sports photographer in the late 1990’s – early 2000s, capturing fast movement with unique angles and light for skateboard magazines. During my extended collage experience, I designed wakeboards for CWB, while working full time as Overseer of Sales and head of International Marketing, for one of the first online action sports retail giants. After collage, I moved to Wilmington, NC to further my design career and ended up as the creative director for a Fortune 500 clothing and apparel company. One day while stuck inside my small office in North Carolina, a beautiful woman walked in the door and captured my heart and soul. She moved to Kauai just 3 weeks after we first meet. After talking for 3 months over the phone and visiting Kauai for 10 days, I quit my job, sold everything I owned and bought a one-way ticket to Kauai. That was almost 7 years ago and we are now married and have a beautiful 2 year old son. Dreams do happen and you are witnessing that here. I am honored and blessed use all my creative skills with such an amazing company here on Kauai, Holo Holo Charters and to do what I love. Mahalo nui for your interest and support.
