💦☂️Since we finally got some much-needed rain in our county ......I thought it may remind you of something… 💦☂️🤩
While you're thinking about it, make plans now & mark down the date for next summer!!
The Lawrence County Fair will be July 7- 12th, 2025!

The Lawrence County Fairboard is so very appreciative of and also so proud of our volunteers and the 4-H extension office employees!

We would like to announce that recently someone who plays a vital role in our programs, Paige Matney, won an award for her work in our County and at the State level! 🏆

Paige was recently awarded the National Above & Beyond Award at the TERSSA conference for the work she does in our great County & State.🥇

We are extremely proud of Paige's accomplishments and awards and appreciate all she does for our county’s youth year-round and especially during fair week! 🎡

We have a fantastic crew here in Lawrence County, including our 4H extension office workers and Fairboard members and volunteers.
Thank you ALL for being awesome contributors to our successful 4H program and our County Fair!

🎡Hey, Lawrence County! Wow! Another great week of THE FAIR is complete!
The Barn is quiet....the stalls are empty, & the sounds of fun on the Midway are gone.
Another week of THE FAIR has came and went...time flies when you're having fun & it sure seems like alot of fun was had this week!

Thank you so very much for joining us- we saw lots of smiles & loved having you all be apart of our County Fair! 🎡
A few special things to highlight from this year are:
•4-H horse show - returned back to the fairgrounds!
•We have a new ride Company- Primetime Carnival Company that we look forward to having back!
•Plans for New buildings and facilities coming in 2025 to the Fairgrounds! stay tuned for more!

Last but not least- we thank our faithful Fairboard members for their hard work and all the sleepless nights, getting the track prepped and ready DAILY for all events...they put in a lot of late nights and early mornings, cleaning up and setting up-getting ready for each day.
There are SO many to thank- and so much work goes on behind the scenes to put on a great FAIR and we have one of the best around!

🎡We especially want to thank our cleanup crews, gate workers, Jr. Fairboard members too! 🍀
It takes a village to put on a fair- and it run so smoothly without incident- & for that we are thankful.
Everyone plays a special part and is part of the solid foundation our Fair was built upon.

🎡❤️Thank you, Lawrence County, for supporting THE FAIR and for bringing your family & friends out to make some memories and carry on this great tradition in Lawrence County!
