Meet Ryley & Korbin ✨

They met when Korbin was entering his Senior year at Simpson College and Ryley was a Junior. It was love as first sight for her, while it took Korbin some convincing to be around her 24/7. She was instantly attached to his hip and his couch as they binged watched The Office all school year.

They had talked about marriage and their future for as long as Ryley could remember, so when she graduated she was waiting for the moment they would finally get to start their lives. It only took a few years and moves later but the moment finally came July 2nd where they walked to the top of his families farm and got down on one knee.

The two enjoy spending their weekends with family in Indianola and Cambridge, loving their sweet dog, Jed.

Excited to celebrate these two next August at Sunset Ridge Barn!

The ceremony. The worship. The speeches. The prayers over Jacob + Lauren. The interactions. The special people celebrating these two today. It all told a bigger story, one of the truest love and redemption, a message the Torkelson’s now get to live out together as husband and wife. It was a privilege to witness this beautiful day.

We are so overwhelmed at the kindness of everyone sharing our post and their prayers🥰 Thank you!! We understand the power of prayer in numbers and have experienced a miracle!! We just received the ring in the mail a few minutes ago! Alligent in the Punta Gorda Florida airport received the ring somehow and shipped it to us with no other explanation on who found it or where. When my daughter realized she had lost the ring it was the very first time she came to me and asked me to pray for her. That was a miracle in itself and then our all mighty God decided to return the ring too, on top of getting our teenager to pray with us. He is so so so good❤️ 🙌 Sometimes we need to see heartache in order to see His miracles. Reminds me of when Jesus waited four days to raise Lazarus so that people would see what an amazing miracle that was and believe. We are still in awe and was hard to get a picture here because she could not stop crying happy tears! Our daughter will no longer hesitate to pray when she has a problem! Thank you, Jesus, for your goodness, love, mercy, forgiveness, protection, healing, restoring, and so much more that you are to us every minute of every day, even though we don’t deserve it, you always are all of that and so much more 🙏 🙌❤️

Behind the scenes photos from a styled shoot on Sunday. I was remind of the movie The Notebook with the water scene, the groom resembling Ryan Gossling, ect! Amazing vendors and there was laughing the entire day that could be heard 30 acres away. What an amazing and talented group😁

Only 8 wedding dates left for 2020 at Sunset Ridge Barn AND we are excited to announce that booking for 2021 has begun! We are so grateful this year to have been able to enjoy watching the new pavilion provide such a great ceremony & reception experience for so many couples & all who come to celebrate them❤️
