I was more than happy to see the Morgan family again, this time to take their youngest son's senior pictures.

Cole is a Rock Falls senior who was just as nice as can be and has the cutest little smirk. Cole enjoys spending time outside. His interests include motorcross racing most weekends and hunting. Plus he's on the Trap Team at school.

He wanted his photos taken at his place of work which is Mitchell Melons Tampico, IL. Cole loves his job there and has been working for them since he was 14 years old. Jeanne was so nice to show me around their property before his session that I was able to scout out the perfect spots.

After graduation Cole is interested in pursuing a degree in agronomy.

Some of you may recognize this Pleasant Valley High School senior. Carson. I've had the pleasure of photographing him several times starting way back when he was in grade school.

Carson was a little less than excited about documenting this milestone. Originally his mom had planned to go to two different locations but due to his level of enthusiam we decided just to head to LeClaire and see what we could find. I'd say we hit the jackpot.

We had a mostly cloudy day which was the perfect backdrop for the Mississippi River. Earlier in the year, when his mom first reached out to me about his session she had mentioned possibly including the river since he spent a lot of time on it growing up.

We also shot at Antique Archeology. I really liked the look of location and the service garage tied in nicely to Carson's interest in mechanics. Through his high school he has been able to take automotive classes plus he works at Lindquist Ford.

I enjoyed spending time with Carson, his mom and girlfriend and in the end he said "it really wasn't that bad, just at the very end." 😆 You know how it is sometimes "just one more photo" that turns into 20 more.

After graduation Carson's plan is to enlist in the Air National Guard and attend Iowa State University with the major aviation mechanics. I'd like to wish him the best of luck and hope he enjoys the rest of his senior year.

Meet Paezleigh, an outgoing, athletic, fun and chatty Prophetstown High School senior. Her favorite subject is Ag Science because she wants to work with livestock. She's very involved in many clubs; CEO through Whiteside Area Career Center, Fellowship Christian Athletes, FFA, STUCO, HOBY and she's a class officer.

Paezleigh's played both school and travel softball for 10 years. When she's not on the softball diamond she likes to hangout with friends. go for car rides, travel, hike, swim, listen to music and dance.

Next year she's planning on going to college probably Rock Valley Community College then transfer to Western Illinois or Illinois State. Besides Ag Science/Ag Education she's interested in early childhood education.

Traveling is on Paezleigh's bucket list and her dream job is to be a rancher.

My next senior spotlight features Prophetstown senior, Allie. Allie's confident, athletic, motivated and kind. She's almost always in a good mood and giggling. She's enjoyed all her science classes in high school and plans to pursue a degree in the health field after high school.

She's played volleyball for 7 years. I'm pretty sure her this year has been the best yet because the Panthers just won the Regional Championship! In addition to volleyball she's been on the Trap Shooting team for 3 years. She is also a part of BLIND, a leadership club for high school students.

Allie's a busy girl outside of her school activities she works 2 jobs. One at a bakery and another at a nursing home.

After high school she plans to attend college and become a nurse. Things on her bucket list include moving out, going to college, and eventually becoming a pediatric nurse practitioner.

Meet Rowyn, a Prophetstown High School senior. He's outgoing, funny, social and artisitc. He's also musical, playing the guitar. Hence the cool record store location for his session.

His favorite genre of music is progressive metal. Rowyn's favorite subject used to be math but he now absolutely loves chemistry. He's enjoyed being a part of the Trap Shooting Team and outside of school and work he likes to lift weights.

Rowyn's hobbies are a bit ecclectic besides playing the guitar, cooking, eating and yelling are things he enjoys to do.

He's been interested in cooking and baking for a long time and actually wants to go to culinary school. Rowyn's dream job would be to own his own bakery some day.

Meet Prophetstown High School senior, Wyatt. I had the pleasure of photographing Wyatt and his cousin, Gavin. We started at a beautiful park and ended up downtown Davenport on top of this parking deck. All I can say is "WOW" the sunset was incredible that night. I was so excited to be able to capture these dramatic photos.

Wyatt was such a nice guy and easy to photograph. As you can see from the photos he's a wrestler and he's already been wrestling in pre-season tournaments. I'd like to wish him the best of luck this season and to leave it all on the mat.

After high school Wyatt's thinking about going to college to wrestle or enlisting in the military.

Meet Gavin, a Davenport West High School senior. Gavin describes himself as quiet, responsible, creative, sarcastic and an optimist. He's the type of guy that the glass is half full and that's a great quality to carry you through life.

I don't know how I kept forgetting to post these photos celebrating Gary & Cindy's 25th wedding anniversary. They were so nice and such a pleasure to work with. It was nothing short of a miracle they were able to gather their entire family except for one son in law for a weekend of celebrating.

A funny story about deciding where to have their session. We wanted to stay as local as possible and I kept driving around town racking my brain where would be a good spot. I had my eye on the property across the road from them that I totally missed how beautiful their yard was. Hands down it was the obvious choice for their session plus I think it makes the photos even more special they were taken at home.
