A show within a show provides a different insight into the world of bridal shows. This event was founded by Jewel Odeyemi, the owner of Touch of Jewel Event’s and Designs, LLC in July 2016; when she determined that there wasn’t any opportunity for ethnic & cultural vendors, most especially West African vendors to showcase their amazing work and talents. Jewel plans all types of weddings and events
but specializes in planning ethnic and cultural weddings with a niche in West African Weddings. Most bridal shows have a large number of vendors where the competition is surreal and without having a strong A game, one could easily get lost in the midst of the other 20 vendors in your category that you are having to compete with at the show. Our bridal show is geared to only showcase no more than six vendors within each vendor category and each vendor is carefully chosen and the quality of their work and services have been vetted to ensure that they are the right fit for our target clients. It is about time for couples to walk into a show and not feel overwhelmed with the amount of choices and decisions in choosing a vendor or not made to feel like they have to walk a marathon before finding the vendor of choice. When you attend ‘A Show Within A Show’, attendees will have the opportunity to meet and network with each and every vendor, they will also get a chance to be entered into big ticket raffle items, enjoy the perks and discounts from top notch vendors that will be offered only at our show and what our attendees look forward to the most is being able to enjoy a food tasting, wine pairing, cake tasting, hair trial, makeup trial, stationery consultation, consultation with other vendors, and view an excellent array of bridal gowns, bridesmaids dresses, custom men suits from top designers who come to showcase their collections at our fashion show. We will also have entertainment from amazing DJs, Band, Musicians, Comedians, MCs, Dancers and more. Most of our attendees last year booked at least 50% and some more from the vendors that were at the show. We had over 100 attendees attend the event last year and we are looking to double that count this year. There were about 25 vendors last year and we are setting up for at least 40 vendors this year. As a potential bride, groom, mother of the bride, wedding party member, when you attend our show, you save a lot of time and hours in your planning by getting a chance to do EVERYTHING all in one place!
