This week we have had so many highs and lows with our biggest sign party that took place this past week. On Tuesday, the day before our big party I found out through social media that one of my customers that attends sign parties regularly was involved in a tragic car accident. This woman wasn’t just any sign party attendee this was Erin! We knew her. Like really knew her. We knew her favorite shades of blue to match her home decor, we knew her husband had the same name as her, we knew her sons name rhymed with her and her husbands. We often joked if she ever had a girl what her name would be. We knew that when Erin signed up for a sign party she hated the fact that she would have to glue her sign. All she wanted to do was paint, chat, meet people and drink a glass of wine! Erin never met a stranger. She would make friends with anyone and everyone!
I posted this picture months ago about how sign parties create friendships along with memories for a lifetime. Little did I know when I posted this picture Erin was in it. This is the definition of her and what she did! She came with her friend to the left of her in the picture and the two ladies across from her instantly bonded and became new friends. She brought them together and created a beautiful memory. This was Erin! She loved her friends, family and community fiercely.
My heart hurts. Please pray for her family and especially her baby boy who is left without a mom. Erin we will miss you tremendously at our sign parties. ❤️
