For almost three years FWC has been providing specialized meals to a wonderful company, GoalFood in Cranston. Unfortunately, our friends at GoalFood were confronted with an untenable lease/landlord issue and had to close their shop. After a few weeks of back and forth we are proud to announce that we have purchased the meal distribution part of their business. GoalFood specializes in healthy home meal replacement for people with specific protein, calorie, fat content and other nutritional needs. The website is www.eatgoalfood.com There are options for bulk, subscription, or one time purchases. Meals can be picked up at our location at 840 Allens Ave in Providence. I would like to thank Garrett Lockhart and for all their help with the transition.

Fire Works Catering turns 20 today. What started off in a dingy old school sandwich shop called Deli on the Square has morphed into a premier off site catering company. We couldn't have done it without so many people who worked along with me through the years. Heidi Hollis, who was with me for almost 17 of those 20 years. Casey Duckett, Scott Barkley and Crystal Besaw who spent time in the beginning at Deli on the Square. Chris Pat, who's been with me for 10 years and couldn't be a better sous chef. Thanks to Sam Levenfeld for introducing Chris to me and his time with me for what I'll call the Fateful RI Yacht Club Fiasco Era. Others from that time include Maura Shea, John Anthony, Ali Rich and Kristen Lahteine-Stepalavich. Thanks to Cristina Dionne for hanging out for close to 15 years and still going strong. Kevin Perkins, special thank you to you brother. So many others helping out over the years. Dave Gallagher Amber DelGrego, Cristian Bueno, Damien Anderson, Mary Park, Shay Scott, Veronica Ferron, Tulani Kai, Jennifer Trafford, Ellen Loconto and so many others. I couldn't have done it without all of you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping us get to 20 years.

In October it'll be 20 years since we started our business. The first 3 years we were Gourmet Deli on the Square before we moved to a larger space and changed to Fire Works Catering. This is our original sign with the logo Stephanie Schechter designed. It's sitting in our basement right now
