What a weekend with the Higgins!
This couple was referred to me by a good friend & coworker.
I enjoyed every moment with them…from our FaceTimes, to first in person meeting at Spain Restaurant, to their food truck rehearsal dinner, then finally the big day! It was a party from beginning to end!!! And you know I looove a good party! Lol

September 10th was a very busy day but so so worth it all!!!
Wedding number two…
Where do I begin…
Our families met back when we were in elementary school and is the true definition of “friends who become family”. I’ve witnessed this bride go through many stages in her life and overcome all challenges! An amazing daughter, sister, cousin, friend, mother, and now thanks to this man, a wife!!!
They knew from the beginning they were meant to be together, but took the time to build a strong foundation with dedication, compromise, patience, and love!

I am a true believer of “everything happens for a reason”!
I was asked to officiate this wedding about a year ago and I had to decline because I was already booked for the day and I like to be available all day for my brides.
But on 09/10/23, I had just left my makeup appointment and pulled up at home when I got a call from the MOB saying their officiant canceled…I ran inside, jumped into my dress (literally), wrote a script for them, flew to Cranston in the rain, and performed the wedding…this is the perfect example of why I love what I do! The energy and love felt from the guests filled me with what I needed for my next wedding that was scheduled just two hours later.
It was a true blessing to meet and unite this sweet couple!

My journey began a few years ago when my best friend asked me to marry her and the love of her life! I loved being able to showcase their love for each other in front of their family and friends. Shortly after word got out, I was blessed with the opportunity of officiating a ceremony, for a couple who was about to lose their mother to cancer. I eagerly researched how to get ordained and within days we put together a very intimate ceremony in the comfort of their home. That was the day that put the stamp of approval on my thoughts, that this was part of my purpose in life. To acknowledge love, showcase it, and legally bind the love of two together forever.

What an honor it was to be apart of this wedding. Tiffany and Miguel have been together for 16 years and I’ve been friends with them for about the last 10, so this wedding was way more than just a job! It was truly a blessing!
