Aloha, My name is Kamie, founder of ‘Ohana Picnics. I’m a native Hawaiian girl from Makaha who moved to Rhode Island at the age of 6. It wasn’t until 2011 when I made my way back to my beautiful island, and since then I’ve returned many times, and each time I’m reminded that this is really where I’m supposed to be. The aloha from this place and the people is something I can’t find the words to explain. There’s just no place like HOME! That’s where ‘Ohana picnics come in, I thought, people NEED to FEEL this. How can I share this type of aloha for people to experience on the East Coast? We partnered with Waiakea, keeping every guest hydrated with their refreshing water from the Big Island.
