These elegant, eclectic, and stunning nuptials are the sort of work florists dream of… It’s not everyday in the shop that we get to create floral epaulettes, boleros, and top hat decor but when we do…. we go all out!

Must be the season of the witch! Swipe ➡️ to see the color!! A deep, dark and delicious bridal bouquet for a fabulous October bride. Full of gorgeous local bounty like burgundy ranunculus, amaranthus, and anthurium with deep purple scabiousa and smokebush. These beautiful blooms are made to pop with help from contrasting pale yellow candlelight roses and soft butter stick with a few of the last of our buds own eucalyptus stems. 🍁

As you can see, processing poppies is a little different than your average flower. Cauterizing the bottom of the stem helps them pop out of their hairy husks more quickly and prevents their sap from seeping helping the poppies retain their moisture and nutrients so they don’t wilt as quickly. Lesson being; sometimes all we need is a little fire under our asses to get us blooming! #natureismetal
