OMFG! It's October, and the spice has returned, its earliest return ever, but it cares not for your feeble cries of “but it’s still summer!” Because to the spice, time is meaningless. A mortal construction meant to mark the hours until we weaker beings made of flesh and bone are doomed to rot away. The spice does not need your approval, or acceptance — all it needs to survive is your continued compliance in the ever-expanding commercialization of fall within an economy reliant on endless growth. Independence Day barbecues, Passover Seders, Easter, Flag Day — all will be swept away until nothing remains but the eternal ocean of spice. And when the last humanoids of Earth dust off the ancient ruins of our civilization, they will find but one artifact survives: a can of pumpkin spice Spam.

Unbeknowest to me, my first DJ mixes were with dual deck tape cassette players and first edits were with SoundForge and burned to CDs at 1x speed. Before that, I used to annouce and play on a PA at the local baseball park when I was about 10.

Learning to DJ began when my friend bought a pair of MKIIs and a DJM and I started building a collection of records. I bought a pair of Direct Drive Gemini turnatables to practice on. Small parties in the area known as Monterave were great. We were lucky enough to move on to CDJs! This was about 2002-2007.

I moved to Japan was able to see a lot of my favorite DJs and even became friends with a few of them. I also met a lady in charge of throwing International Parties on behalf of a major Karaoke company.

When I came back to the USA and moved to Colorado, I invested in a PA system and DJ gear. I also put together a few mixes and started hosting Karaoke at some of the local bars. I enjoy helping people throw parties for private events and celebrations. DJing is not always the most important but also supplying the sound and hosting the event.
