Pueblo City Council and Pueblo County Commissioners have proclaimed January 31, 2025 "Yanera McCulley-Sedillo Day" in honor of the Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce 2024 Rod Slyhoff Citizen of the Year event.

Yanera is a respected leader and role model who was born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado. She graduated from Pueblo Central High School and earned her degree from Pueblo Community College with an associate's degree in business management. Yanera is married to her husband Donnie Sedillo Jr., has two children Zolanye and Charles. Yanera's list of community activities is extensive, and her accomplishments have been spread throughout Pueblo over her career. Yanera has spent most of her professional life supporting organizations that work to improve Pueblo.

She has had a significant impact in many areas of our community and continues to serve as a role model for all. Her accomplishments came while serving many families through the family business of Angelus Chapel of Pueblo. She has had a lifelong commitment and devoting to the betterment of Pueblo and especially the Bessemer neighborhood, which is impressive and appreciated by many.
