The Green Palace Wedding and Event Barn

Today was a bittersweet day…it was our last wedding weekend of the 2022 season and the ”official” handover of the property to it’s new owners.

Marissa and Dalton Mogck have purchased the Green Palace. Although they plan on putting their own spin on things, they do plan on continuing to host events in the Barn. Knowing this, made selling the property a little easier for Jim and I.

My family has been honored to host many weddings, dinners, reunions, graduation party’s, dances, celebrations of life, grief retreats and more. And we look forward to how the Mogcks move forward with this very special little property.

Join the Swenson family as we welcome Dalton and Marissa to the community and to the Palace. I’m sure they will make the property even more special than it already is. ❤️❤️❤️

Another gorgeous wedding is in the books at the Palace. I’m excited to see the professional shots from this beautifully styled wedding. Each and every detail was perfect, down to the custom made cupcake stands that the Groom lovingly created for each table. And the Bride was 🔥.

The perfect Fall day offered wonderful weather for Dennisha, Chance and Stetson to begin their happily ever after, surrounded by many family and friends.

We’ve taken wood slabs to a whole new level!
These beauties are large and make the perfect, one of a kind centerpiece. Simply add a little greenery, some candles, a few small vases with fresh florals, and you’ve got a unique and attractive table.

For us at the Palace, wedding season 2022 starts May 7th with the wedding of a dear friend’s daughter, and goes on into mid-October! We are so excited to celebrate with each of our sweet couples and look forward to helping create some life-long memories.

Our goal at the Palace has always been to help the couple create a wedding that is as relaxed and stress free as possible. By providing a 3 day wedding package, it allows the couple adequate time for set up the day before the wedding and tear down the day after the wedding. This helps provide enough time during your special day to slow down, take a deep breath and absorb all of those special moments. No one wants to feel rushed on their wedding day!

Many of the amenities that we provide will help create a hassle free weekend. Wedding week starts with a deep cleaning of the Barn and Farmhouse, lawn prep and table setup. We work with each couple to provide the table layout they love and also allow them to choose between grey, cream, white and navy table linens. Our décor closet is filled with beautiful and trendy decorative items that the Couple may use free of charge and incorporate into the items they already have.

Allowing for a very individualized wedding, we do not require the Couple to use certain Vendors. Each Couple may choose the Florist, Caterer, HMU, D.j., Photog, etc of their choice. Cookie cutter weddings are not allowed! ;)
