The story behind Event Elements Catering….this is going to be a long post😁and even pictures 😂.

In 2015 I graduated from Charlotte Technical College where I studied culinary arts . I had never been to college a day in my life .I was 52 years old. The month after I graduated I found out that my husband was very sick and required an LVAD to keep him alive ,and soon we would find out that I would be Jeff’s caregiver. By God‘s grace,I needed to find a way to provide for our family so soon after ,I decided to start a personal chef business and started working in peoples homes who graciously allowed me to cook their weekly dinners. From that point ,people kept asking me if we did Catering for events. This is when we knew that Catering was our next step. After pursuing a commissary kitchen and getting a Catering license 8 1/2 years ago we started this business with just a few pots and pans and one hot box and two chafing dishes. And now we have grown into having a staff, lots of equipment and wonderful clients who continued to use our services over the past eight years . There have been so many wonderful people who have been a close friend to Event Elements. ( You know who you are and thank you ❤️) My amazing church ,Deep Creek Community Church, allowed me to practice on all the new comers for years!😉,I appreciate the Punta Gorda Chamber of Commerce who have always promoted us and given us the opportunity to be a part of our wonderful community. It has been a blessing to own a small business in this community. To our dear friends and everyone who knows and loves Event Elements Catering we will be closing our doors at the end of this year. We have loved serving our community and, We love Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte and surrounding areas ! Punta Gorda has been a family to us and it has been our absolute pleasure to be a part of your special occasions. We will be 100% committed to serve each and everyone of our clients who have booked us to the very end of the year! We are still booking events until December 31.2024!!!
Thank you again for all of your support over all of the past 8 1/2 years. I just want to say to our amazing staff and those who have worked with us over the years( including my sons Nick and Noah ❤️❤️)…I love you!….you guys have rocked it so many times and we have worked hours and hours standing on your feet to cook for people just to see them smile. 😊
To all our friends…Thank you again!!!We will miss you but hope to see you again in the community❤️🥰
