Reflecting back on a great Monday! The weather was perfect for flying and the wind, epic for top landing (when we land from where we take off)!! Sky Retreat Grand Opening Celebration

It was a beautiful evening of celebration!! Thank you to everyone who came to the event and made it so very special! Delicous catering by Frugal Gourmet and Gadabouts Catering, draft beer by The Speckled Trout, incredible music by Welter Entertainment, table decoration exhibit by Boone Rent-All & Parties Too, and thank you also to the Blowing Rock Chamber, the Ashe County Chamber, and the Wilkes Chamber. It was a beautiful ribbon cutting for the Grand Event Hall, and we are looking forward to an already very full season of events, classes, parties, and weddings!

Was an incredible day of flying at Sky Retreat! Lots of flights for everyone and a final evening "Glass-off" with smooth buoyant air! What a great beginning to Memorial Day Weekend :)
