This is an almost 6lb steak! These are what I use to make beef stew for . They're perfect because the fat & bones make amazing stock, and the meat is melt in your mouth tender.
I just made 40 quarts and delivered them today, along with quarts of Beef Chili, too. Just in time for a snow day!

🔥🔥Enchiladas Lasagna🔥🔥

Chicken or Vegetarian! Both have layers of yellow corn tortillas, cheddar cheese, onions, rainbow bell peppers, corn, tomato & smoky enchiladas sauce. Half of this batch has slow cooked, shredded chicken breast, and the other half is vegetarian made with pumpkin, black beans & kidney beans. Oh yeah, they're gluten free too!

Surprise Birthday Date Night Dinner. A very thoughtful husband told his wife that he made dinner arrangements for her birthday. She thought they were going out to eat but when she came home from work she found Chef Coomey and her lovely assistant Dahlia already busy in her kitchen. Surprise!!

This dinner was planned a couple of weeks ago over a brief phone call. We talked about their likes, dislikes, allergies, and some of the menu items that looked good from sample menus that I had emailed earlier.

I loved this dinner because I had full creative freedom to make whatever I was inspired to make within a few small guidelines. Which were bright, fresh & flavorful. I needed this dinner as much as the birthday girl did. My Chef heart is content!

The Menu

1st pear basil & honey bruschetta w/ blueberry chevre on toasted baguette/ extra virgin olive oil sea salt, cracked pepper, balsamic reduction & orange zest

2nd crabcake salad w/ cucumber mango salsa, key lime aioli, butter lettuce, fennel, tomato, lemon olive oil dressing

3rd sesame salmon rice bowl w/ purple rice, baby bok choy, honey glazed carrots, roasted broccoli, edamame, red cabbage, radish, thai peanut sauce

4th star anise creme brulee w/ fresh apricots & berries

•Foods with "angel" in the name include
angel food cake,
angel hair pasta,
angel biscuits, and
angel wing cookies.

•Foods with "devil" in the name include
deviled eggs,
deviled ham,
devil's food cake, and
fra diavolo sauce.

If the term "deviled" is used to describe foods that are spicy or indulgent. What is the word "angel" describing?

Slightly off topic but, still relevant- why is it called Buddha bowl and why doesn't the internet get mad about that?

GREAT NEWS📣 starting this week all of our Angel eggs will be locally sourced! We're getting eggs from The Farmers Cow a CT based 6 family farm coop. 2 of which are friends and neighbors. Grace Gourmet is supporting local Farms one Angel Egg at a time! Fort Hill Farms

We have build your own sushi nights at home once in a while. I've even done a small group sushi demo. I'm no expert but, it's a lot of fun & so delicious! Sushi donuts are my favorite & I think that they'll be coming to a store near you real soon!
