We have been permitted to open the Market this Saturday, May 16 from 9:00-2:00 at the South Hill Mall parking lot with ten more vendors and social distancing guidelines in place! Please be respectful of these guidelines. We want to be able to keep the Market open for the rest of the season.

We'll see you there!

Please read the entirety of this post.

This Saturday we are going to host a trial market. In accordance with local regulations and health codes, we will be allowing no more than 60 vendors to come and sell essential produce and food. On May 9th from 9am to 2pm, our new adjusted market will be at the South Hill Mall (in the Southwest parking lot by the former Sears location).

This new location will allow us to have appropriate space for social distancing. We have been authorized for only ONE weekend at this time and it will be a very different market from what you might be accustomed to. The most important aspect of this market is the safety and health of all involved. All of us at the market are asking you wonderful people to come and shop but keep social distancing and community health as a priority on Saturday.

Customers will be asked to limit their time at the market. We cannot have large crowds at this market so please come in, do your shopping, and allow others to come after. It is our intention to keep you updated on our social media channels throughout the run of the day so that you can see the best times to arrive. You will want to come and shop as individuals and not as families. We will have new safety measures in place and strict social distancing tools to ensure everyone’s health and safety. We really want to be able to continue our market through the year so we need your help in adhering to these new regulations.

While we are thrilled to be able to offer healthy, fresh, and local food to our community, our equally strong commitment is to everyones' health. Stay tuned to the page and join us this Saturday for our one day farmers market event.

Also please be sure to wear a mask or something that covers your nose and mouth when you attend the market. We truly appreciate your help and support.

The 62nd Airlift Wing will be performing an Air Force Salutes morale flyover throughout Washington State's Puget Sound region, this Friday, May 8th, 2020, saluting American heroes at the forefront in the fight against COVID-19. During the event, the wing will conduct a C-17 Globemaster III two-ship formation flyover over the following healthcare facilities and places of interest (see map below). It looks like they will be in the Puyallup area from about 1:58 p.m. – 2:12 p.m. as they are flying from the Kent/Covington area to Puyallup and then heading North toward Federal Way.

Please note: All times are estimated arrival times based on the best available information. Due to weather, air traffic and airspace requirements times may shift slightly. Additionally, real-world airspace conflicts may prevent the 62nd Airlift Wing from flying over every planned hospital.

"What is lost for this class of seniors will never be recovered.

But thanks to the movement, at least they are being remembered.

On Friday night, high school football stadiums throughout Washington will light up at exactly the same time – “20:20” (8:20 p.m.) – for 20 minutes as a way to honor the class of 2020."

The City of Puyallup will participate in this celebration by lighting the Fields at the Puyallup Valley Sports Complex, Clark's Creek North and Wildwood Park, as well as the Pioneer Park Pavilion.

Join us tonight in celebrating the senior class of 2020!

What is lost for this class of seniors will never be recovered. But thanks to the movement, at least
