Lanyards and airwalls have long been two staples in the event world, both of which we despise.
The badges flip around so if you don’t have names on both sides, their name becomes, blank. They never match anyone’s outfit, they often fall to the navel, or other places you don’t want to be staring.
One year, we had a theme “Friends in Loan Places”. Can anyone guess what we used for a name badge instead of the lanyard? (fun, clever and the talk of the conference)
Don’t get us started on an airwall. They used to be carpeted walls that didn’t quite close all the way. Using rooms with breakouts next to the general session was never good. Or, if another group had the smaller rooms next to your general session and they were a dance team, well… you get where we are going with this!
We have gotten very innovative and know how to mitigate these two things that are the “bane of our existence”. If you too, feel the same and need help navigating solutions, call, email or text us!
