Let’s start a flower garden!
Join us for an engaging and exciting morning learning how to grow a garden! Beginning with story time, we’ll read “We Are the Gardeners” and discuss what plants need to thrive and how to care for them. Next, we’ll pick what flowers you’d like to plant from a unique variety of seeds, fill seed trays with soil, and plant some of the varieties you choose! Once our seeds are planted and labeled, we’ll wash up and snack on “dirt dessert” and allow time to explore our small library of garden-themed books and socialize. Families will be sent home with their new plant babies, additional hand-outs on caring for their growing plants and life lessons learned from gardening to consider sharing with your children at home, and a copy of our “Growing a Garden” educational activity book where children can learn more about the life cycles of their plants, their unique leaves and blooms, and track their garden’s growth in their “garden journal” (additional copies will be available for purchase at the workshop if you’d like more than one!).
Gardening is a great life skill that teaches children (and adults) endless life lessons, engages with them through sensory learning, and builds memories that last a lifetime. We’d love to help you and your family begin your garden journey and see where your garden will take you!
We’ll be at in Souderton for this event, with two workshop dates available. To purchase tickets, please visit our website! If you have any questions about this event, please reach out via email ([email protected]) or DM us!
We can’t wait to help you start your garden!
