We are Event in a Tent USA - a unique tent rental company based in Upstate NY!

We thought that it would be great to give you a little background of who we are, the faces behind the business and a little information about our Nordic Tipis.

Our US branch was launched in 2018 by Matt, Niamh and Kenis after a decade of events in the UK renting our tipis for major festivals, business and commercial events.

Decorating our tipis is one of the best parts of the rental.

There are so many beautiful poles and beams to wrap flowers around, hang up bunting or pampas grass. The world is your oyster and you can create a venue that really shows off your personality.

The frame is amazing on its own, but with fairy lights, ivy, and some flowers, balloons or bunting, it really 'pops' to create a venue to remember 🌟

💭 Will it be dark in the Tipi tents?

This is a frequently asked question, so we thought it would be a good one to talk about.

Tipis are quite fascinating when it comes to their structure.

The canvas itself, as you may know, is a light khaki color, which creates a naturally warm vibe inside the tipis.

Depending on how many "lifts" you have on the tipis, they can vary in brightness. Typically, clients prefer to keep the fronts of the tipis open, allowing plenty of natural light to flood in.

As you add more lifts, you get more light 🔆

Closing the tipis with a wooden door creates a cozy atmosphere, though not necessarily a super bright one. 🔥

One way to address this while still keeping the tipis sealed from the elements is by opting for a clear extension.

One thing is for sure - everyone who steps into a tipi for the first time is in ♥️ LOVE ♥️
