I had the chance to support the grand opening of @lightandlensgf, by providing a very simple backdrop and balloon installation for the event.
Aiming for a NYC art loft vibe, I envisioned a mix of a brick wall, velvet curtains, bistro lights, balloons, and a color scheme of black, gray, white and sand with her logo. Speaking of the logo, getting that logo where I needed it, turned into on an improvising adventure that kept us both laughing throughout! There were even some ladder climbing moments to hang the bistro lights! It was all part of the fun and creativity of making the space come together.🤣
While I was supporting her business, Jess was also supporting me. As I’m still learning and growing, this opportunity helped me sharpen my skills and showed me how much community and mutual support can make the process even more rewarding. She even gave me a little Cricut lesson (mine’s been sitting unused in my basement!), which was a nice bonus.
Jess is such a kind and welcoming person, and I know the community will love being a part of her space. I’m excited to support her business by offering portrait sessions for clients in need of indoor portraits in the future!
