Worthington Park in Quilcene, WA: A New Event & Performance Venue with a History
Worthington Park is a magnificent rustic property with old world charm and updated amenities. The 1892 Late Victorian Worthington Mansion, with a French 2nd Empire Mansard roof has been lovingly restored and recently furnished. You’ll find 3 stories of 17 beautiful rooms with ADA accessibility, wifi, and a catering kitchen; with plenty of space for entertainment, professional functions, retreats, educational programs, weddings, dining, sleeping accommodations, and parking.
The ten acre park surrounding the well appointed mansion, offers several picturesque sites to enjoy, entertain, and learn. From the Worthington Barn, built in 1915, to the 660 feet of rippling water river frontage along the Little Quilcene River - you’ll find invigorating hiking trails, and rejuvenating forested areas. There are historic tours offered by our friendly, dedicated, and knowledgeable volunteers, and educational exhibits in the Quilcene Historical Museum, and acres of wide open meadow for large events, that lead to the Linger Longer Stage; the 300 guest, outdoor theatre, set peacefully against the small, tranquil lily pond.
In 2019, The Quilcene Historical Museum gained approval to host up to 50 events throughout the year, in Worthington Park’s Linger Longer Stage, Worthington Mansion, and the ten acre park, all because Eileen Worthington had a vision for her estate, and took pride in the local history. As a charter member of the museum, she arranged for the sale of her property to the museum.
