Makeup rodeo - So, we are going to do something that is out of the normal. I feel that since I did not schedule rainout dates; I need to give everyone a fair opportunity to be able to attend. However, I am limited on dates the arena is not reserved. I am going to assume that everyone will be attending on Jan 31st unless they request one of the other dates. Just use the current change request if you will not be able to attend the 31st and put what date you plan on making up the rodeo. I hope this makes sense.

Here is our current game plan.
Option 1 - Jan 31st, Friday night 7PM
Option 2 - Feb 14th, (Makeup/Slack for Feb 15th)
Option -3 You can double up at this rodeo (This would be Jan/Feb)

I need to look at my calendar and will post makeup dates for the remainder of the season. TIA

Rodeo rescheduled- comment below please. All the weather has put a damper on us for the adult rodeo this Saturday. I am sorry to say; it is just to wet and cold. Not to mention 70% rain forecasted for this weekend. We need to have the rodeo in order to give out the proposed awards. I would like to move it to Friday afternoon, Jan 31st. If we started at 6pm would you be able to make it? I am just trying to avoid a late night.

Other options: Sunday Feb 9th start at 2pm, or double up (2 rounds) Feb 15th, start at noon.

Adult Rodeo Series - IMPORTANT please share. I need to order buckles. So, I need to know if you plan on attending finals. This is so that I can get finalist buckles ordered. The only requirement for finals is that you are a member and attend 5 rodeos. We currently have 5 rodeos left before finals so, it is NOT to late. I created a simple form. Please fill it out.

J2 Adult Rodeo Series Awards information
1. Yes; you still have time to join as a member and make finals. Our next rodeo is Jan 18th @ 4pm. This will be the last chance to join and qualify.
2. The attached flyer outlines the awards structure.
3. Yes; everyone who is a member (and competes at finals) will receive a buckle. Champion, Reserve Champion or Finalist. If you win a Champion or Res then you will not get finalist to.

PLEASE SEE the corrected date for Finals - We are on the 3rd weekend and put the wrong date on initial flyer. Sorry.
Awards - We should be able to do Awards Saturday afternoon, if we start round 2 of finals that morning.

WOW! Is all I can say... You guys are definitely rockin it! We been averaging enough entries in the team roping to be able to a Team Roping Header and Heeler saddle. If you have been considering joining us don't delay. January will be the last month to be able to join and qualify for finals. Not only that but you still have enough time to be eligible to be a contender to win the saddle(s)

Well, 2024 is a wrap for the J2 Adult Rodeo Season. I am ecstatic at the response we have received from our members. We are ending this year with over 60 members. January will be the last month to be able to join and still be eligible for finals so keep inviting your friends.

Saddles will be awarded to the following events:
*Team Roping Header/ Heeler - flyer to come with more details
*Champion Barrels and Poles of the 1D division updated flyer attached.

Bull Riders - Due to repetitive NO shows all bull riders will have to pay their entry fees in advance. EF must be paid by Saturday morning NLT 9am so we can coordinate stock. This cost us money on stock fees

Bronc Riders - If you have called in and did not call out in 2024 you too will also be required to pay your entry fee in advance. All Fees must be paid by Friday at Noon so we can coordinate stock.

I hate doing this, but it is only fair for our contractors.

We are an awards driven association so only a small % of EF goes to payout.
