The cottage progress continues after a couple back to back weekend weddings.💒

The mountain laurel railings were installed and we couldnt be happier with how the space has come together!🪵

We’re gearing up for the start of wedding season, busily working on the new cottage and patiently waiting on the blueberries.🫐

We wanted to give you a sneak peak at the latest addition to Idyll! It’s a 3 bedroom 2 bath cottage situated perfectly between the barn and the greenhouse. She has been a hard work of love with attention being given to every last detail and is going to be gorgeous!

More details to come on dates for rental as we get closer to completion. Just letting all of our followers know we will soon have accommodations for you!👰🏼‍♀️🤵🏻‍♂️

Idyll is situated in the middle of so many great hiking trails. One of our faves for obvious reasons, is Pickens Nose. At 4880 feet, it’s the tallest most prominent mountain peak in our landscape!⛰

Over the weekend we climbed the 2000+ feet to the top of it. When I say climbed I mean drove.🤣 It’s a great short hike because you can drive nearly all the way there, it’s only about a half mile hike to its rocky top where you can see for miles!

Needless to say we got some great shots from the peak that over looks our home at Idyll.♥️

Labor Day weekend was absolutely beautiful and the perfect time for a wedding. Our bride’s team designed a woodland themed event for her special day! We must admit our setting was indeed, Idyll!

Rabun Gap stays about 10 degrees cooler than Atlanta year round, making it a great place to escape to in the summer. Included a picture of our youngest helper who has designated himself the official wedding chauffeur!🛻 Don’t worry he can almost reach the brakes!😉
