Guess who's gonna be on stage for the New River Stage Door Canteen? It's everybody's favorite Song-Byrd Campbell, Debbie!
Whether it’s playing the role of Levi in Joseph and the
Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat or Jetsam on roller-skates in
The Little Mermaid, Debbie thoroughly enjoys performing
with Summer Musical Enterprise and with New River Stage.
She’s acted in numerous productions with New River Stage
including Once Upon a Mattress, Curiosity Cat, Treasure
Island, Decision Height, I Never Saw Another Butterfly, etc.
Debbie grew up in Blacksburg and lives with her husband,
Allen, and their miniature poodle, Buddy. After having a
rewarding 20-year career as a guidance counselor, she left
education and started her own business 12 years ago. Debbie
owns a Home Staging and Redesign business called Stage 2
Smile, LLC. She wants to thank Allen and the rest of her
family for supporting her in (most all of) her “shenanigans”!
