GRATEFUL & LONG POST:
First off HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! 🎆
Bear with us as you read through this and apologies that it took so long to write, but we wanted to make sure that this post was without anger and frustration!
We read somewhere “when the lights come on and people scatter like roaches, don’t be disappointed or discouraged because it reveals who was only there for the shine, not the substance."
When we tell you our GOD & our TRIBE has Vic Green Da'Nice Green covered, He most certainly does and they are forever grateful. We believe in giving people their flowers while they can still smell them, appreciating and acknowledging their worth in the present.
For those of you that don’t know what happened, Between 12/29/23 and 12/31/23, our plan for the BIGGEST New Year's Eve Opening Weekend was disrupted. We aimed to become one of the largest the first, veteran-owned, black-owned, women-owned, and family-owned event spaces, in Raeford, NC, along with a 2400 square feet, adult, membership-only lounge. This would have been significant for various reasons. On the morning of 12/29/23, we were informed that moving in or opening our doors wasn't possible due to the builders not meeting promised requirements for the CO. This has put us in an awkward position, turning away potential clients and impacting the new relationships we've worked so hard to build.
Now you can only imagine how this one set back impacted so many people, organizations, events, friendships and even relationships! Although our Faith wavered, we are never giving up! We were so worried about the wrong things, such as humiliation, blame, loss of connections, finances, “who supported and who did not” and the list goes on… Through it all, we’ve learned to realize, God does NOT make mistakes! What is for us will be for us!
We would like to acknowledge someone that worked so diligently, to make us relevant, not only in the city of Raeford, but surrounding cities in over 200 online outlets. Her work did not go in vain, as we can see the continuance of phone calls, and messages that we receive for inquiries , pure Love, excitement, prayers and appreciation towards us, for even wanting to do something of this magnitude! ShaDonna McPhaul with The Mo You Know , I cannot thank you enough!!!!! This is a truly living, God sent Angel! If you have never worked with her, you are missing out! She has a passion for people, and a love for what she does. Although, it doesn’t come close to any gratitude I can say, or do, we would like to say THANK YOU 💐 Please know we will be thanking you for years to come!
Last weekend would not have been possible without the help of our Parents Lin Green Debra Wright Odolph Wright Bernard Green (our prayer warriors, our financial support, our babysitters, and everything else in between. We love you all so much! Thank you for putting up with us and being there for us when we need the most.)Trenise Wright, Big sister of Da’Nice, who is our non-official secretary and HR manager. Thank you so much for dedicating your time and coming from Houston, just to support us in person, in any capacity we needed. Words cannot express how much we love and appreciate everything that you have done and will continue to do.

Thank you so much for making time for me before and after your work from home career, to jump in when needed. we love you guys so much and we appreciate every single moment we shared through this process).
Tiffany Daniels (for only meeting you just a few years ago with the common denominator of our boys, playing on the same football team, that elevated into a beautiful friendship! I am forever grateful! Thank you for helping us, selflessly, even though it was, right before a scheduled surgery. A true act of kindness, that I would never forget!).
Jalise Wright( Baby sister of Da’Nice, who came all the way from New York in time to put everything together for the New Year’s Eve party! I love you!)
Jasmine Green, our cousin from SC who came to jump in alongside this fabulous group of ladies. Our family shows up for you, even when you feel as though you don’t need the help, they have our backs, no matter what! Thank you Angie Early, Antonio Green(&fiancé) Jamal and Kennedy for making our celebration a night to remember!!!!
You ladies put in the work without complaints to make sure we had the weekend we have been planning for months and then some….

We gained soooo many connections and we are FOREVER grateful!
I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to each and every person who took the time to join and support us during our grand opening on New Year's Eve weekend. Your presence made the occasion truly special, and we appreciate the support you've shown as we embark on this new venture. Thank you for being a part of our journey.
We were reminded by our church, family and two of our best friends, Shontae Hill & Anthony L Hill, that troubled don’t last always
No more tears left to cry…
No more regrets left to feel…
It’s 2024,
It’s time to go to work!
Love the 1910 Family,
