It's that time...time for our Christmas Dance!!! It will take place on Saturday, December 21st - tickets are on sale now for $35. There will be a buffet dinner, live music, party gifts and door prizes.

The band for the evening will be Alabama Rain - this will be their full band and we are looking forward to seeing them!

Dinner starts at 6pm and the music will begin at 7pm. This is one of our best dances of the year - we hope you can join us! Amy Hardy will have tickets at Abracadabra Ballroom Dancing Studio - you can reach out to her at the studio or private message us here to get your tickets.

The theme this month is "Game Day". Wear your favorite team colors - jeans are welcomed for this theme. Amy Hardy of Abracadabra Ballroom Dancing will be teaching a lesson at 6:00pm AND she will be playing our dance music also. The actual dance will start at 7:00pm.

Tonight is the night - our annual October Halloween Dance Party! Come out and dance with us tonight and be sure to wear your costume. There will be a prize for Best Women's Costume, Best Men's Costume and Best Couple's Costume.

Let's all get together and celebrate "America" - we've already celebrated the 4th of July, but there's always a reason to celebrate our great country! This month's theme is "America" - come dressed in your favorite patriotic outfits - we will be giving a prize away for the most patriotic attire!

We are excited to have our own Joe Ricketts and Buck 45 playing music for us - they are always AMAZING! Amy Hardy of Abracadabra Ballroom Dancing will be teaching the lesson before the dance. Be sure to make it there for the lesson, Amy always teaches steps that you can use when you dance that same evening!

Are you ready for this? It's it's the third Saturday of the month and you know what that means...time to dance! Our theme this month is "Beach Party" so be sure to wear your best resort casual, beachy finest. 😉💃🕺

Our dance is this weekend and the theme is “Kentucky Derby”! The dance music starts at 7pm and lasts until 10:00 pm. Amy Hardy will play music that will make you want to dance to every song. Don’t miss it! Amy Hardy of Abracadabra Ballroom Dancing will host a dance lesson at 6pm.

Charlie and Tracey Bailey will be decorating with a “Kentucky Derby” theme. There will be a Best Hat contest. Please wear your best hat for the Derby theme! The dress attire is "Dressy Casual".

Join us at the dance tonight! The lesson starts at 6:00pm and the dance starts at 7:00pm. Amy Hardy of Abracadabra Ballroom Dancing will be teaching the lesson - I can't wait to see what dance she chooses!

The theme tonight is "Spring is in the Air" so be sure to dress in your spring finest. Dress code is dressy casual tonight. A big thank you goes out to Nancy & Chuck Buchman who are doing the decorations tonight and Amy Hardy who will be providing the music.

Our performances for this event are going to be AMAZING again this year! Robbie Greenwood is back!!! For those of you who don't already know, Robbie has been the dance coach at Abracadabra Ballroom Dancing for the past 10 years and he is responsible for all of the wonderful choreography in the show. Robbie Greenwood, owner of Ballroom By The Bay on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, began his dance career in Jackson, MS where he started his training.

Before moving to the coast, he taught more than twelve years at The Dance Studio of Tupelo. He is fully DVIDA certified in both American Smooth and Rhythm. Robbie is highly regarded as a top-level choreographer and his group and Pro Am performances are always fabulous.

Robbie never stops learning and loves getting high-end coaching. His coaches include notables Jim & Jenell Maranto, Slawek Marzena Sochacki and Marzena Stachura, Ron Montez, Toni Redpath, Felipe Telona, and Kasia Kozak. He first competed professionally in American Smooth with Stephanie Betts in February, 2009.

He is often in demand to do coaching and judging throughout the region. He has an amazing event of his own in Biloxi, Mississippi in April also, called the Sunset Ball. He coaches regularly in Anniston, Alabama. Robbie is a graduate of Millsaps College with a degree in English.

Amy Hardy is the owner and primary instructor at Abracadabra Ballroom Dancing in Downtown Anniston, where she also teaches guitar, piano, banjo and ukulele. Amy is a graduate of the The University of Alabama and has been teaching ballroom dancing professionally for over 20 years. Amy offers dance lessons for ballroom dancing, social dancing, salsa, west coast swing and country western.

Amy has taught at the annual ALL STAR DANCE CAMP and is an all around AMAZING instructor! Many of her students will be performing at the The Spring Ballroom Bash and you will be absolutely mesmerized when you see her dance! UA Competition Ballroom Alumni would be proud!

It's that time - our dance is this weekend!!! Our theme is:

Going to the Movies!!

The dance will take place on Saturday, March 16th at the Rainbow City Community Center. The dance music starts at 7pm and will last until 10:00 pm. Amy Hardy will play music that will make you want to dance to every song. Don’t miss it!

Amy Hardy of Abracadabra Ballroom Dancing will host a dance lesson at 6pm. Amy is a really great teacher - be sure to get there at 6pm to learn some new moves to show off at the dance later that evening!

The Steverson's will be decorating with a “Going to the Movies” theme. Make it a date night and let's celebrate together. There will be raffles for cash and a door prize, too.

The standard club dress code is collared shirt, tie, sport coat, and NO blue jeans. For the “Going to the Movies” theme the dress attire is "Dressy Casual" and yes, jeans are acceptable.

We have our first group of donations in! Thank you to all of the companies and individuals who donated items for our door prizes and silent auction!

We have ballroom dancing lessons donated from Abracadabra Ballroom Dancing, guitar lessons donated from Anniston Guitar Lessons, a desk lamp donated by Atlanta Office Liquidators Inc. and Nakamol earrings, a Victoria Emerson bracelet and Sarto ladies sandals donated by Dana Uesry!
