“How Do You Feel?”
This next installation of our F.E.A.R. series comes from the incredibly talented @negralatina__ , a frequent collaborator of ours and beloved member of our community💜
These pieces, all sculpted by Jalyssa, are inspired by the Emotion charts that we would see as kids in our school counselors office. She uses stop motion filmmaking to capture these emotions so that the viewer can use them to help reflect on how they’re feeling.
Let us know in the comments how this made you FEEL, which one’s your favorite, and if any of these helped you better understand what you may be feeling now. After all, the first step of being able to work through our emotions is to identify them.

The next installment in our F.E.A.R. series comes from the beautiful mind of Sarah Elizabeth, a cherished member of our team and one of the most talented visual artists you’ll ever see. It’s inspiring to watch her push beyond her comfort zone and communicate her ideas in the form of this short film. It is a piece where she uses expressions through hands, along with a gorgeous score created by none other than @francocolon and mesmerizing lightning design by @mdcombs.lighting, to explore the beauty of being loved, as well as the fear of being abandoned.
Not all fears are the type to make us jump out of our seat, or cringe with anxiety. Sometimes they manifest quietly, right alongside something beautiful, and that’s okay. The key is just allowing yourself to feel it all.

SYNESTHESIA. VISUAL ART BY THE BLIND.
A special perception of color and shape helps blind artists create amazing paintings. These works allow the viewer to see what we couldn`t have imagined before.
The exhibition features 52 oil mixed media paintings by blind artists, students of Belonica Art School, Belarus. The exhibition will be on display until June 3rd. Sales' profits will go towards the Belonica Art School and The Deaf & Blindness Charity to provide supplies and technology for the blind in Belarus and the USA.

The blind artists included in this exhibit understand colors through sounds, smells, tactile sensations, and emotions. In this exhibition, paintings jump out of the canvas to communicate with the other senses giving the viewer a heightened multi-sensory experience.
"Many blind people find it difficult to find their place in society. We create art spaces where they can communicate and be creative. A place where people have a chance to feel their social significance and fill their lives with interesting events.
To teach painting, we developed a Lihtar device and wrote a mobile application that translates colors into music. The goal is to enable blind people to engage in creativity, to teach them to express their inner world on a flat canvas through colors and shapes.
