Ricky and Mary’s love story 🤍

1. Where did you and your husband meet? How did you meet?

We met for the first time at a Christmas Party in 2018. She was wearing a Christmas tree headband and he was wearing a llama party sweater. We were initially started talking due to a mutual friend’s claim that we shared a common interest in one another. Though the claim was completely false, our friend planted that seed in our minds and we started talking. After a few dates, we were officially dating by the fall of 2019. We were long distance for majority of our relationship, he was in undergrad at the University of Alabama and I was in school back home at the University of North Florida. However we both made the long drive many times to see each other ❤️. Now almost 5 years and thousands of miles later, we are married! We are so excited for this next chapter in our lives.

2. What was the sweetest moment from your wedding day?

The whole day was truly the best day and we had such a great time with each other and our guests. Throughout the morning my girls and I were enjoying our time getting ready and I felt so excited but relaxed at the same time, I didn’t think I was gonna get emotional. With that being said, I think the sweetest moment was right as I walked down the aisle. My dad and I were about to walk out and I kind of peeked out the window as our ring bearers and flower girl went down. I saw all of our friends and family sitting out there but I still couldn’t see Ricky yet. My dad looked at me and said “you ready” and in that moment I realized I couldn’t speak with out crying. I smiled and nodded and we began down the aisle. As we walked out I saw ricky and our friends and family and it was waterworks for the rest of the ceremony. We really felt not only the love we have for each other but all of the love from our family and friends.
