A small peek into Ashley & Drew’s wedding details.

Their stationery was the first piece that really felt like them: a mix of art deco influence and deep autumnal wine tones that gave the day its direction. From there, every choice fell into place. 🥂

We designed this incredibly fun styled shoot back in May because I simply couldn’t get chartreuse out of my head. It’s zesty and bright and funky and joyful - all of the things we love - and now that has announced the 2026 Color of the Year as Island Citrus, we’re excited to see more of it in our future designs!

From that yellowy-green start, we added in shades of tangerine and warm deep pinks, as well as butterfly-inspired stationery and tablescape touches (and even a perfectly chartreuse 🥝 cocktail, thanks to bar team).

We expect to see much more bold color at weddings over the next several years - and consider us FULLY on board!!

If you asked little Carina what she wanted to be when she grew up, a wedding planner would have been the very last answer. Instead, I would’ve said things like astrobiologist or obstetrician (yes, really). I didn’t even go to school for anything event-related - I was an oral surgery assistant who loved my patients dearly and that’s where I thought I’d be forever.

Then I fell in love with my husband and it shifted something in me. Our love made me softer, more open, way more focused on connection and being a safe space for others. When we started planning our wedding, my passion was immediate. It wasn’t the pretty things, and it wasn’t even the timelines or logistics at first (iykyk how serious we are with our timelines 😂). It was creating a moment in time and space where our love story - something we celebrate together every day - was able to be celebrated and felt and experienced by all of the other people we love.

I followed that feeling. Got certified in the midst of planning our own wedding, put in thousands of hours grinding and learning, led 100+ couples through this incredible journey, and here we are, almost celebrating our 3rd birthday.

People tell me this is my calling, and that makes sense to me now. Maybe I did always know. ❤️

Sweet Emma and Thomas. 🧡 These sweethearts didn’t just have one perfect wedding day - they had two.

Their original date was last September in Weaverville, right when Hurricane Helene hit. We had 2 weeks to reroute everything and pull off a ceremony in their hometown of Atlanta so they could still have their perfect day. From that moment, the plan was always to come back to the WNC mountains for the big celebration. ⛰️

Round 2 came with its own complications - throughout the morning, the drizzle came in waves and the fog sat heavy on the mountains. As their planner (and of course checking the radar every 2 minutes), I made the decision to hold out. I knew that the universe had clear skies planned for them in my heart.

About an hour and a half before the ceremony, the entire fog line moved and the sun cracked through. You can literally see it in the photos - the most ethereal moment as the sun warmed the mist and pulled it back into the sky.

And from there, the day just unfolded. The girls wrapped up in blankets that morning, the guys being absolute menaces during photos (in the best way), the insane golden hour over cocktail hour, their sweetheart table framed by the incredible mountain view, the raging dance floor, and the happiest little exit.

It wasn’t the day we planned the first time. It wasn’t even the day we pictured the second time. It was better - the moment they finally got to celebrate with everyone they love.

Emma and Thomas, you deserved every bit of this. We love you forever!

When we design your day, we care about how it functions, how intentional it feels, and what kind of experience it creates for you and your favorite people.

Functionality matters first. The layout, timing, and flow decide how easy the day feels for everyone. When it’s done right, no one notices it.

Intentionality is what makes it personal. Every decision should point back to the couple, even if it’s subtle. If it’s not done with meaning, then what the hell is the point?

Experience is the sum of all of it. The thing you can’t fake. It’s how you and your guests actually feel when you’re there in the moment. It’s the ease that comes from a hundred decisions done right.

The big things matter, but the magic always shows up in the small ones.

Tori and Connor’s day was beautiful in every possible way, but more than that, it felt like them. From the very beginning, every decision we made together came from a place of intention, from her gloves and stunning overskirt to the chocolate, burgundy, and creamy tones woven through the florals, linens, and design details.

They said their vows in the vineyard as the sun dipped, surrounded by a hundred of their closest friends and family. Guests sipped martinis during golden hour before entering a reception that glowed under chandeliers and candlelight. Layers of texture, warmth, and those little design details that made everything feel truly T & C.

By the end of the night, the dance floor was packed, the drinks were flowing, and the energy was exactly what we’d hoped for in our 14 months of planning together: effortless, emotional, and real. I don’t think I stopped smiling (or crying happy tears) once. These two are the kind of people who make everyone around them feel lucky to be part of their story, and we’re so thankful to have been part of theirs.
