Stepping into feels like a complete dream - this shoot was designed to bring all of the stunning natural elements of the venue together with a touch of fine art, and it delivered 👏🏻

With a floral-adorned fabric canvas as the ceremony focal point, a thoughtfully curated tablescape, and the amazing capturing it with her oil paints, the space became a seamless blend between art and nature. Details like the wrought iron doors, fountain, and the textured chargers brought the old-world European charm to life, while the lush florals and vegetation (give us more beets on tables ASAP) pulled in an organic and earthy warmth. 🎨🍂

What an unforgettable beginning for this incredible venue - we are so grateful to have been a part of it! Thank you to the incredible team of vendors for capturing and executing this dream and design:

The BEST day ever for Izzie and Cesar 🤍

Last month, these two special people said their vows at , and we feel so lucky to have been there to soak it all in with them. After 14 months of planning together, seeing their dream vision come to life and their joy as they were celebrated was everything we could have asked for. 🥹

Of course, can’t forget all of the special details: Cesar’s INSANE floral lapel done by the incredible , Izzie’s earrings, made from a pair of her great grandfather’s cufflinks, and the sweetest cake topper we’ve ever seen (the groom even requested their little beaks be touching… I mean come on 🥲)! Our favorite detail throughout the evening was the nod to their appreciation of literature - each dinner table was “numbered” with a book, and the guests found their personalized bookmarks to find their way to their seat 📖

Reliving this day over forever and ever, and always wishing these two joy and happiness.

One year of Chris and Taylor! 🧡

From the lovely autumnal blooms by to offering tarot readings for cocktail hour, every detail of this day felt so perfectly October 🍂 It’s weird to process that it’s been a year - it feels like it’s been the blink of an eye since sending these two down the aisle (and since that iconic bull kiss shot!!) 🥹 WE LOVE YOU, T + C!

We love getting into this part of the year. There’s just something about fall weddings that is so special - the crisp air, the leaves beginning to change their colors, the rich burgundy, red, and orange tones - we love it all 🍁

💫 ALLY ✨

Say hey to our fabulous new Lead Coordinator, Ally! 🍾 A proud Wake County native, Ally grew up in Wake Forest and is a graduate of NC State University (GO PACK! 🐺), so don’t be afraid to ask her about her favorite local spots!

When she’s not tailgating for a Carolina Hurricanes game or soaking up sunshine at the beach, she loves to spend time with her husband, Luke, and adorable pup, Tito. 🐾 Her happy places are riding to her favorite songs in a spin class, sweating in a hot yoga studio, or flexing at the barre (especially when mimosas are offered afterwards 👀). Community is also super important to her, so she loves meeting friends for late night margaritas or mid-morning tea (not coffee!) and having Sunday cookouts with family.

As a March 2024 bride herself (gorgeous shot by ), Ally truly understands the emotions, challenges, and decisions that come with planning a perfect wedding day. Her calm and reassuring presence is invaluable during the planning process, and helps couples feel supported and confident every step of the way.

We’re so lucky to have her joining our team full-time and I can’t wait to continue watching all of the wonderful days she’ll be a part of. 🩷

Today, we’re shifting into a brand design that feels completely in line with the personality of Raleigh Weddings: colorful, bold but elevated, and full of heart. 💕 We are so excited to share our new logo, website, and voice after months of perfecting, and beyond grateful for , who captured our vibe spectacularly.

Now, for the even bigger news: wedding coordination is BACK! 🙌 After stepping away from coordination for the past year to focus on full-service planning, I knew the only way to bring it back was to do it better than ever. Enter Ally, our incredible new full-time lead coordinator! 🎉

Just over two months ago, Carmel and Meschak had the most stunning wedding with over 300 of their favorite people 🤩 The vibe was total glam: lush white florals, gold accents, and absolutely gorgeous attire for both the bride and groom (as you can see 🥵). Carmel’s dad officiated the sweetest ceremony, and the choreographed dances were incredible.

Two months before this beautiful day, Carmel and Meschak were sweet enough to extend an invitation to their traditional Congolese celebration, which was beyond joyous and magical 🧡

These two people have the best hearts, and it was wonderful to be a small part of bringing their day together. C + M, we are forever cheering you on and celebrating you! 🥂

The Pruitts 🥂 C + B’s wedding day at @theupchurchvenue nearly two weeks ago was one for the books. Their ceremony, the first ever held on the venue’s front lawn, was filled with joy, love, and so much emotion - lots of happy tears 🤍 As die-hard Carolina Hurricanes fans, they couldn’t go through the day without referencing their favorite team: their jersey guestbook with their new shared last name and the Canes hype songs playing throughout the night were the perfect touches. 🥅🏒 What really stood out, though, was how much Chase and Brodie love each other and how in tune they are. Throughout planning, they’d often finish each other’s sentences and thoughts, and were in total agreement about every aspect of the wedding. It was so palpable throughout the whole day - during their vows or when they snuck little smiles at each other - even their friends and family couldn’t stop talking about how you can just feel the love between them. When @westco.studio delivered this video to me, I was crying all over again remembering this perfect day and remembering all of the work, discussion, and laughter that went into making it so special. Becky and Sean told me during our very first consultation that they were getting married where they’d met - @raleighfounded, a coworking space in downtown Raleigh. The planner in me immediately went into solutionmode: how will I floor plan a ceremony for this number of guests in a space not built with that in mind? Where will I put the DJ? How am I going to execute the flip from ceremony to party during dinner? The romantic in me, though, was just dying to make it happen - and it was a perfect day. 🥹 Another thing I love about this day and what went into it is that I feel it really drives home that my business and my planning style are both built on one main pillar: I want your day to be yours in every way. I don’t want it to feel like it’s just for social media posts, or to impress distant family members, or that it’s just “what you have to do”.
