Transformation Tuesday
I was so reluctant to share this, but I found that my transparency is inspiring to others! This pic on the left is of me in LA filming for Netflix US] ‘s Sugar Rush. Once we arrived they had a transportation service shuttle us along with the other contestants from our episode and our driver took us to .and.out.burgers so that we could experience some LA flavor! I want to shoutout to who I met that day and that I may add won the show along with her brother Andrew, as she sent me this pic a couple of weeks ago. We had come up on our 2 year anniversary since filming Sugar Rush and I didn’t know how far I had come along! Imagine owning a bakery and a catering company that offers the best of both worlds food and desserts….. Some days I feel like throwing in the towel, but when I look at this transformation it’s a reminder to never give up! That some progress is better than NO progress! Eat a cupcake once in awhile… it’s okay! Lastly, whatever it is that you want to do to make you feel better about YOU…. DO IT UNAPOLOGETICALLY and you’ll thank me later. Netflix US] We need a DO OVER! She Ready! Lol!

Let me splain myself…. A week prior to this moment, my Bride Jasmine Walker, as we were saying our goodbye she said “when Dreams and Nightmares comes on I need eye contact!” When the moment that moment arrived an dropped that beat…. I did not disappoint… I made my way through her thick crowd and I made eye contact ra**ng every lyric and she grabbed my arm and pulled me in the center of her circle and we rapped to each other! I know this may be a mean nothing kind of a story to you, but this story means everything to me!
Congrats are in order to Mr. & Mrs Erik & Jasmine Highsmith! Thank you for allowing me and the CCB family share in your special day! We had a blast!

Please let me splain myself….. so Bride Jasmine Walker and I have a convo a week prior to this moment, as we were ending the phone call she stops and says, “When Dreams and Nightmares comes on I NEED eye contact!” Now anyone that follows us KNOWS that we show out when that song comes on. Well let’s say when the moment arrived I did not disappoint! dropped that beat…. Mind you Jasmine and I hadn’t even seen each other not one time and now this is the last song of the evening. Her wedding was thick, like I can’t see her… I make my way through the crowd and now I’m standing in front of my Bride, who was drop dead gorgeous btw, we are now pointing to each singing the lyrics. She grabs my arm and pulls me into her circle and we shared that moment together! I know many will think this is a nothing story, however this was EVERYTHING to me! Congrats are in order to Mr. & Mrs. Erik & Jasmine Highsmith! Thank you so much for allowing me and the CCB team to share in your special day!

This past weekend was a whirlwind of events, But THIS… Diner en Blanc Raleigh] was something to go in the history books…talking about MONUMENTAL. I have to thank Diner en Blanc Raleigh] and for afforded us the opportunity to cater this event! I want to thank the ENTIRE Cake Couture team because I know I stretched you guys beyond your limits! You guys worked and watched the sun come back up with me and Loc and for that I am forever grateful! I want to thank all of you that dined with us I pray you enjoyed every morsel! Lastly, I want to thank all of my people that visited our booth and whispered “congrats, you’re so deserving of this” “I see you sis!” Your words or encouragement keeps me going bc I KNOW y’all want to see me WIN!
