New gift shop lands at Crabtree Valley Mall

A new gift shop with an emphasis on candles has landed in Crabtree Valley Mall.
McCormick Creations Gifts + Candle Studio, located on the lower level near Belk, offers a wide variety of gifts, with a focus on products from local and minority-owned businesses.

Candles are a key part of the business and and a passion for owners Emily and Gary McCormick.
"Now that we've landed at Crabtree, we've expanded to actually have a candle-making studio,” Emily McCormick said. “We really want people to come and experience the candle-making classes at Crabtree, which promotes making and nurturing connections.”
The owners say they want to connect to local and minority business owners in search of new candles with innovative stories and scents.
