What a day at this beautiful golf course. Not only was the ceremony and the reception stunning, but it was filled with fun, celebration, and not 1, but 3 dresses for the lovely bride. Although it was hot, the ceremony set up was beautiful and elegant and couldn't have been more perfect for the bride and groom. They displayed their memory table right next to them at the alter for all to see and cherish. For the processional and recessional, the bride even surprised the groom with a live bagpiper since he is a fan of bagpipes of course. Following, came cocktail hour and the first outfit change of the night. They had a live guitarist performing during so. Next was time for reception. The newly weds performed a perfectly choreographed first dance followed by an upbeat version of their first dance. Then of course time for dinner and parent dances and of course their cake cutting. Finally it was time to open the dance floor and bring out the band Punch! This happy couple went the band route instead of a DJ and let us just say, they did NOT disappoint. The girls even got to go up on stage for a song. Congratulations again to Mr. and Mrs. Ferrer!

Has thought ever crossed your mind? No worries. There is no rule that says once you are married, that's it and you can't have an actual wedding. We have had multiple clients that did just this. They eloped and then later on whether it was months or years, have their wedding of their dreams. Getting legally married and celebrating with your friends and family has no timeline.

During a starry night, literally, Tyler and Jacob were married. They chose the Planetarium near UNC Chapel Hill, where they both attended as their venue. Their ceremony was held outside in the arboretum joined by their loving friends and family. Following, guests gathered inside for cocktail hour before heading downstairs to experience a planetary show as a special feature to their night. Post-show, guest went back upstairs for the reception which contained dinner, toasts and dancing. Congratulations again to the new Mr. and Mrs.

We had the pleasure to work out first Greek Wedding, celebrating Mr. and Mrs. Harris. A few special elements from the day included the table ritual, which in Greek tradition signifies the first steps together as a united couple, they had their Ya Ya as their flower granny in lieu of a flower girl. Another Greek tradition included having a Koum bara, a sponsor that helps during the ceremony with the exchanging of rings and the crowns, as well as the table ritual. Finally, joining the quintet that the bride and groom chose to provide during dinner, the groom joined in to play.

WEDDING SERIES: WEDDING STYLES +blog
For our last wedding style, we have Mountain Weddings. Vibes usually include natural and sometimes rustic elements. Bonus points if the venue is on or at the top of a mountain just like a wedding we just planned. Check this out:

Imagine getting married with beautiful mountain views in the background. Oh wait, that’s exactly what happened for the newlyweds Jackie and Blake Forbes. The day started with a breathtaking ceremony but not before Jackie did a first look and shared a special gift with her brothers. Jackie then joined Blake at the altar that looked like they were on top of a mountain. During the ceremony, Jackie and Blake planted a tree together as their unity element. Following, during cocktail, special bartenders joined the group. By special, we mean 2 mini donkeys with little beer saddles on. During this, guests could grab a beer from the special friends, feed them, or simply sit around the fireplace. Next its party time. After being introduced for the second time as Mr. and Mrs., Jackie and Blake shared their first dance, followed by dinner, followed by very sweet toasts that created many tears. After such, the moms were surprised by a mom dance, where the bride and groom invited their mothers to the dance floor to dance. Guests then spent some time just hanging out, chatting, a few danced, and used the photobooth. Eventually, the dance floor opened itself which led into the anniversary dance to get everyone out there. In lieu of the bouquet and garter toss, the newlyweds chose to do a tee-shirt toss that said “FOUR-BEES”. Finally, it was time to just dance the night away and celebrate. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Forbes!!!
