This was a small wedding yet full of fun. Mari and Jon started their day with a ceremony officiated by Jon's dad followed by a venue switch for the reception. The red and white color scheme matched perfectly with the brick built space of the venue. The night started with the first dance as Mr. and Mrs. followed by a buffet styled dinner. Of course following were the toasts which led into something we don't see often at a wedding. TRIVIA. multiple questions were asked about the bride and groom and the winning table won the "Top Banana Award" picked out by the groom himself. Lastly, with help from the MOH, guests danced the night away. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Swann! Top Vendors of the Night:

VENDOR SPOTLIGHT:
This month's vendor spotlight goes to Daniel's Florist. They provide beautiful floral arrangments to match what you have dreamed of. They will set up and take them down or even flip them if the venue has to be flipped. Daniel's Florist is really easy to work with, professional, and friendly. Personally, we have worked with Katie but I'm sure the whole staff are the greatest.

WEDDING WEDNESDAY:
Moving the big day earlier did not stop Daisy and Chris Nash from having an unforgettable wedding. The day started with getting ready at Daisy’s parents’ house with last minute snuggles with Arlo (the dog of the newlyweds). This was followed by a traditional ceremony at the church which contained readings from Chris’s grandma and Daisy’s brother. Little Arlo was the special ring bearer of the day. One of the officiants was also a brother of Daisy’s. Guests stayed back at the church for a big group photo before heading to cocktail hour. Once photos were taken, Daisy and Chris used their getaway car, which was the father of the bride’s red Mercedes Convertible to get to the reception. When reception started, the couple shared their first dance as Mr. and Mrs., followed by Daisy and her dad, Chris and his mom, which switched to Chris and his grandma. Following was dinner and toasts where the father of the bride went an interactive route and had guests stand and sing a verse from a Smokey Robinson song. This was then followed by the cake cutting where the bride and groom fed each other their first bite. Lastly, it was time to dance the night away to celebrate Daisy and Chris Nash. Oh, and we can’t forget their private last dance together. Congratulations again to this happy couple!!

The weather held out perfectly for the wedding of Haley and Giorgio Rizzo. It was cloudy yet stayed dry for their outdoor ceremony by the pond. After a short golf cart ride to the ceremony spot, the wedding party made their way down the aisle and despite saying he won’t Giorgio shed a few tears as well as Haley. After the ceremony, guests gathered on the patio for cocktail hour and were greeted by rusty color marquee letters reading the perfect word of the night. LOVE. During cocktail hour, all vendors finished setting up the reception hall with a burnt orange and wood vibe with pampas grass wherever possible. Following cocktail hour, Mr. and Mrs. Rizzo joined their guests and even personally dismissed each table for dinner so they had a chance to talk to each guest that came to celebrate their marriage. However, this took place after the traditional first dance between the bride and groom as well as the father/daughter and mother/son dances in which more tears of joy were shed. Shortly after dinner, it was time for toasts and the cutting of the cake. Guests enjoyed the cake as well as many other Italian desserts. Now, everyone’s favorite part of the night, the opening of the dance floor. Guests danced for a little bit, including a few Italian dances before a break was had to do the bouquet toss. This wasn’t your ordinary bouquet toss though. Haley dedicated her bouquet to her mom in honor of everything that she had done for Haley. Later on in the night, after the dance floor had been reopened for a little, the bride, groom, and their guests were joined by two stilt walkers to add energy to the dance floor. When the night has finally came to an end (the rain didn’t wait this long though, but you know what they say, rain on your wedding day is good luck), guests lined up by the door for a bubble sendoff leading to the vintage getaway car that Giorgio had borrowed for the night. Congratulazioni to Mr. and Mrs. Rizzo!

November 9th was a lovely day on the golf course for the newlyweds. As the ceremony started, golfers even stopped putting to ensure they wouldn’t ruin any picture opportunities. The wedding party made their way down the aisle with the 3 ring bearers/petal boys being guided down the aisle and throwing the petals out of their f***y packs. The ceremony was officiated by the bride’s brother-in-law which made this ceremony even more special. As the wedding party set off to take pictures, guests gathered together on the patio for cocktail hour. Following, it was time for the grand entrance into the reception area. By grand, we mean grand. Mr. and Mrs. Gillepsy entered with bubbles floating and running through a “Just Married” banner “football stye” per the groom’s request. Their first dance was shared which led into a buffet dinner with multiple stations of food choices. After dinner parent dances were danced and toasts were shared. Now it was time to open the dance floor and dance the night away. Of course, you can’t forget the late-night snack of chicken tenders. Towards the end of the night, the couple was sent off with tassel pompoms guided the way into their new beginning. Congratulations again to the Gillepsy’s!

Despite heavy winds and dress malfunctions, the day pulled through and could not have gone better for Hannah and Tyler Schulze. 11/2/24 started off windy which delayed decorating yet that didn’t stop us from finishing on time (even if that means we had to hurry during the ceremony). During the ceremony, Tyler wasn’t allowed to turn around until his bride reached the end of the aisle to add that moment of suspense yet glory. The ceremony was such a special moment for the couple as they shared tears during the Gods Knot with a beautiful water background. Everywhere guests looked, they could spot water. Fast forwarding, when Hannah’s dad’s nautical bell rang, it was time to transition from cocktail hour to the reception which was decorated with a coastal vibe to it with candles and sand dollars. Guests gathered on the dance floor to introduce Hannah and Tyler as Mr. and Mrs. Schulze followed by an impromptu first dance. Next guests gathered for their plated dinner followed by some very emotional toasts including one from the flower girl which had tears in everyone’s eyes. As the newly weds snuck away to take sunset photos, the dance floor opened up for guests to get the party started. When the couple came back, it was time for parent dances and then for Hannah and Tyler to join their guests out on the dance floor to dance the night away. When it was time to call it quits, Hannah and Tyler shared their last private dance while guests lined up to send the couple off with a flashlight (phone light) sendoff. Congratulations again to Mr. and Mrs. Schulze!!
