I was saddened to hear of Gary Wayne Brown passing. He truly was legend status in the beach music community. I am happy that I got to play in two bands with him. Band of Oz and Holiday Band. We spent a lot of time together driving to gigs. I considered him a brother and no matter how many years passed without seeing each other, it was like it had only been a few days whenever we connected. Friends are like that and Gary was that kind of friend. Loved by all. I know I’ll miss you, Gary.
