Obsessing over this couple’s elegant and classy look from yesterday’s gorgeous Lebanese wedding. Fun fact: This photo wasn’t exactly planned. We were in the middle of our portrait session when it started drizzling 🌧 and had to hurry back inside before we really got rained on. But I WILL run backwards to make sure I capture how gorgeous they look unposed 😍

This summer was definitely my busiest wedding season yet. The 2020 postponements along with my regular bookings have had me in an editing cave whenever I’m not shooting. Today is newborn shoot day! Anddd wedding day for another one of my clients! That’s right, I’m about to head to a newborn shoot this morning, then will be going into wedding prep mode for an evening wedding. Two VERY different photography experiences. This day actually reminds me of what I was doing before photography, I used to teach preschool in the morning, then college students at night. When you love both, you just do both 🤷🏻‍♀️💕

I see some new followers popping up recently, and I’d love to introduced myself! This is me and my family at one of my favorite spots in the Raleigh area to photograph. After years of experience, I have a favorite location for each season. I’m huge on color when it comes to editing, and that comes from me being an artist at heart. My goal is to bring you pieces of artwork, featuring YOU. I want you to know that the world sees you as beautiful, and I emphasize all of the beauty that I see in you.

It’s been a busy year and I am currently booked solid until October. I can’t wait to show you all the beauty that’s coming my way with my summer clients. If you’re thinking about booking a session in the fall, now is the time before I am booked for the rest of the year. Can’t wait to meet you!

Happy Monday everyone! Photographing weddings truly does have a special place in my heart, but I’ve also found a strong love for photographing newborns and growing families. When it comes to editing, I take my sweet time— it’s actually where I see the true magic happen. But it also does take a LOT of time. My average wedding album has at least 400 photos, with each one carefully edited. I never want to rush my quality. Therefore, I am limiting the amount of weddings I take each year so I can focus more on newborn, maternity, and family portraits. Soooooo— if you are engaged, I only have room for 3 more weddings this year and will limit to only 10 weddings in 2022. Message me so we can chat and get you in the books!

I got to photograph my beautiful newborn niece a few weeks ago🥰 the blanket, stuffed rabbit, pink wrap, and headband are just a quarter of what I bring to newborn sessions— all are washed with baby-safe detergent after each session, so chewing the props is totally allowed 🤗
