After a very busy weekend, I just finished watching a great movie!! The Secret Dare To Dream is excellent on Netflix. I highly recommend that you watch it. Join The Fake Movie Critic Group and celebrate movies with us. It is so worth it. It’s a movie for the family and many lessons are wrapped inside of this gem!

GIVING TUESDAY! or many cancer patients "getting to" their continued medical care is an obstacle, a barrier of disconnection from life saving and sustaining chemotherapy and radiation treatment. Transportation should never be that hindrance and The Sisters Inspiring Sisters Incorporated, The SISI, is committed to helping decrease this gap of disparity. In our six years, we have helped 1221 cancer patients with reach to all 100 counties in North Carolina and 16 states nationally. We "Fight Cancer One Mile At A Time" across ages, cancer genres and the miles. It is a sobering experience to witness infants and children connected to chemo drips. While visiting the Scottish Rites Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, we witnessed countless children in for treatment for cancer and as we presented Gas Cards to the Foundation to help many of these families with Transportation Assistance, we were told that our gifts were monumental but in short supply. No family should suffer the hardship of getting their children to critical care. One child looked at us and we will never forget his beautiful but expressionless face. Cancer hits hard and has no respect of age and it interrupts the balance of everyone in each family impacted. As we presented Gas Cards to Duke Cancer Center, we were told that many cancer patients that were newly diagnosed would not receive this type of assistance because the needs far outweigh the availability.
