Pre-Audition Workshop 2/1/2025
POSTPONED: Due to the predicted inclement weather this Saturday, we will be postponing our Pre-Audition workshop to Saturday, February 1st from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 P.M.
Any high school students or transfer students planning to audition for a college music program are welcome to register for our pre-audition workshop. During this workshop, Meredith College Music Faculty will prepare students for auditions to college schools of music. The workshop will include tips, what to expect in the audition process, mini-lessons with one or more audition pieces, lunch, and time to share a selected piece in a mock audition.

Breaking news! Over the Autumn Recess, the Waddelows' office was sticky-noted! Mischievous persons post-it noted the office from wall to wall, even going as far to label every key on the keyboard, stick notes in drawers, and leave their signature sticky-graffitied on the wall. No stone was left un-noted.
"It's a little overwhelming." Said victim Dr. Jim Waddelow "the sensory overload."
There is an ongoing investigation to find the culprits for this hillarious- I mean tragic crime. We'll keep you posted on any updates.
Reportedly this is not the first time Waddelow's office has been sticky-noted, and knowing how traditions work at Meredith College, it most likely will not be the last.
Our next Music Major/Minor for a Day is coming up on Tuesday, October 22nd! MM4D gives prospective students the chance to experience what it would be like to major/minor in music at @meredithcollege.
