💕 Life update 💕

It’s been two months (and a day) since our newest member of the Spark family, our second daughter, Esther Grace, was born. I don’t know how it’s been two months already because it truly feels like yesterday. 🤍

We’ve been loving all the time we’ve spent at home getting used to life as a family of four. Olivia has been the best big sister and adjusted better than I expected. During my pregnancy, I had moments of doubt and fear at how Olivia would handle this transition. I was so worried she would feel replaced, or maybe even some form of abandonment as I have to give more time to Essie. Those fears and doubts are repeatedly shattered by my strong, kind, loving 2.5 year old. “Mom”, she said to me the other morning. “Thank you for bringing sister home”. 🥹

Recovery, both mentally and physically, have been a journey I did not expect. I spent the day before her birth crying, mourning the delivery I had expected to have. Going from a fully unmedicated, no epidural delivery with Liv to an unwanted but required c-section was hard for me to accept. The recovery is so much harder; even harder with a toddler at home that doesn’t understand why you can’t pick her up. Shoutout to all the C-section moms. You are all heroes! I remember messaging saying, “you did this THREE times!?” 👏🏼 💪🏼

We are embracing this new normal. Loving the baby coos and smiles. And I’m trying to give myself grace to heal fully.

We are so grateful for our team who holds down the Photo Booth fort while we get time with our girls! We couldn’t do this without them! 🥰😘

At Spark Photo Booth, we believe we are only as good as our team. And without them, we would not be able to accomplish HALF of what we do. So today I want to give a special birthday shout out to our manager, Austin! If you’ve ever booked an event with us, then you’ve received the most efficient, detail oriented emails from him. He takes care of so many pieces behind the scenes and helps keep all your events organized each week!

Fun fact: when we took over Spark in 2021, one of our requirements was Austin HAD to stay on board. And we are so grateful that he did!

Walking (waddling) into the last few weeks (maybe days) of this pregnancy and feeling extra grateful. I’m grateful for an incredible team who has my full trust and confidence to know they will execute all of our upcoming events with ease, passion and the best service around.

I’m extra grateful for my husband and business partner who puts up with my crazy ideas and desires to always grow our business to the next level.

We are truly blessed with amazing people in our lives and this incredible community!

I love this photo SO much for a couple reasons:

1) In our industry, it’s very hard to get everyone together on a day without any events! (Missing a few people still 🤍)

2) We have the BEST team anyone could ask for and I am so incredibly grateful for each and every one of these lovely faces!

✨2 Years ✨

Today marks two years since Tyler and I took over as the owners of Spark Photo Booth. At times it feels like it was just yesterday and other times like it’s been ten years!

Two years ago I remember questioning whether we were crazy to take on another business. At the time, we had a one month old daughter, both Tyler and I had full time jobs, we already owned another Photo Booth company, I was having my best year in real estate plus managing our Airbnb properties. Our plates were FULL. I wondered how on earth we could pull this off.

Two years later, I can tell you how we did it: we have the best team anyone could ask for! We have a manager who keeps us organized and everyone on schedule. We have dedicated, loyal, enthusiastic booth attendants that show up every day, giving their best foot forward. We have clients and planners and friendors that trust us with their events each week.

We have been able to take this business to new levels. We have more booths than we thought we ever would. We are offering so many new services and interactive experiences. (We even have some we haven’t announced yet.) 😉

I am overflowing with gratitude. I am grateful to our team. I am grateful to our clients. I am grateful for this business that allows me to work from home with my two year old. 🤍

We are so blessed and thankful for all of you! Here’s to many more years!!
