Today is bittersweet.
It’s the end of an era. It’s a changing of the tide. It’s something I knew was coming, but still doesn’t seem real.
I’m retiring from events. And today is my very last wedding ❤️
If you’ve talked to me for any length of time over the last 10 years you’ve likely heard me say “I love planning, but my real passion is running a business.” You’ve probably also heard me gush about my sweet husband, who happens to be the most amazing chiropractor (I know I’m biased but he really is SO dang good at what he does!). Finally, I get to combine the two. For the last five years we’ve been working towards this moment: running a business together!
The wheels have been in motion for quite awhile, but in August we officially purchased the office he has been practicing at since we first moved to NC. It’s truly a dream come true and we are so excited about what the future holds ✨
The events industry has been my whole world for so long. It’s given me some of my very best friends and my very best memories. I’ve worked with the most amazing clients and the best of the best vendors. It’s been the most amazing ten years and I have you all to thank for it 💘
So tonight, I’m soaking in every moment. The laughter in the room, a packed dance floor, drinks in the air, funny and heartfelt toasts - all of it. Best of all, I get to spend it celebrating Laura & Earle 🥰 picture of the three of us from their intimate backyard wedding last October is a forever-favorite!
Cheers to this chapter 🥂 and to the next! If you need me, you can find me hanging out at . We’ve got b i g plans on the horizon 🥳
