Happy Final Four weekend! My husband and I both attended NC State, Go Pack! Both our men's and women's basketball teams are playing in the Final Four this weekend....two games away from national titles. The eight schools (really six since two schools have both men's and women's playing) found out last Saturday or Sunday that they moved on in the tournament. That meant they had to manage ticket sales, team/band/admin/cheer travel license merchandise for sale, pull in more booster engagement, manage press and plan celebration events and pep tallies ....in two different states and Raleigh in five days. What a planning feat. A friend travelled to Phoenix for the men's team and sent photos of the hotel. I am blown away by the branding at the HQ hotel registration desk for our team. I know the NCAA had room blocks much like a citywide convention, but still. The logistics of pulling this together is amazing! Even if you're not a sports fan, check out the coverage of either Final Four. If you're in the Phoenix or Cleveland markets, go check out the Fan Zones. Id you're a planner, look at the engagement for all the different stakeholders. And if you don't have a dog in this fight, I invite you to join Wolfpack Nation this weekend! Enjoyed a hard hat tour in Fort Worth this morning with my client. Roundtrip RDU-DFW in one day, two sites, and a good visit with one of my favorites! Thanks to the Crescent Hotel and for providing great options! And Visit Fort Worth for organizing this day.

This is my friend, and former client at.her previous job, Karen Knox. Karen recently attended the CAI-NC annual conference representing her community. She won the BEST prize from one of the exhibitor drawings.....a ball of CASH! How awesome to see her and that she won!! 💰

Ith Denver and Washington, DC; site visits in Washington, DC (there is a lot of great product here), Open House celebrating all things summer at a local convention hotel and so much more! At last night's basketball game, we ran into our friends from the sharing great recipes featuring the incredible, edible egg and holiday gifts for the kids! Enjoying this weekend at this beautiful resort and learning about their planned renovations. The variety of activities offered here is amazing: spa and wellness, gold, shooting, equestrian, kayaking, carriage rides, archery, falconry, game room, hiking trails, shopping, wine tasting, kids club, miniature golf....if your group is active and doesn't and a bit of a drive, this place is well worth it!
