Our state of North Carolina has faced unimaginable devastation from Hurricane Helene, and the effects are still unfolding. As I reflect on the personal memories I’ve shared with my family and clients in the mountains, these places hold so much meaning for so many. Yet, I can’t begin to fathom the fear and uncertainty local communities are facing during such a terrifying time. The storm has affected my friends and family in countless ways, and the weight of this disaster feels overwhelming.

Helene is a stark reminder of how fragile our earth is and how important it is to protect it, along with one another. The road to recovery will be long. It’s in times like these that we truly realize the importance of coming together as a community.

Even as I continue to support my clients, I can’t stop thinking about how much help is still needed, and will continue to be needed, for those struggling. If you’re able to offer support, please consider donating in any way you can. Every contribution, whether financial, spreading awareness, or offering a helping hand, makes a difference.
