NY Bridal Fashion Week doesn’t end when we get home to Gilded! We pore over every picture, video, and designer lookbook to choose the very best dresses to being back to our brides in Raleigh!

Fun fact: there are a lot of new gorgeous designs we aren’t allowed to show you yet! But the ones above we can - and you bet they’ll be hitting our store in 4-6 months. Yep, our stock orders take just as long as bride orders to come in.

What trends did we see this market? Unique fabrics, basque waists, ruched skirts, off the shoulder sleeves, and cat-eye bodices were all happening, plus lots of pretty 3-D floral details!

Bridal Market happens twice a year in NY, and is always a whirlwind of hustling from appointment to appointment, catching up with our designers and other bridal shop besties. The best thing about working with small independent designers? It’s that we’re friends with them 🥰. We laugh, we catch dinner, we share feedback.

At the end of the day, we have a blast in NY, and we work hard too, but we’re always happy to be back in our cosy shop when we get home 🤍

Life is, after all, better Gilded ✨
