That’s a wrap for five years of fun and partying at Walnut Hill! So much natural beauty in one place, and a whole host of amazing and fun memories. I have to say thank you to Amanda and Scott for trusting me to be there as many times as I did, and for always being so kind and loving. Thank you also to Linda, who was a very sweet venue host and who humored my goofiness in the loft each night. I wish you all nothing but happiness and joy in your next chapter!

I love big, goofy grins. Large “we’re getting ice cream on the way home” “Mom got the good cereal” “I got the Ghostbusters proton pack for Christmas” grins.

A special feature of being at for a wedding is that I get a special vantage point for the ceremony. There, I got to see Bryce’s big, goofy grin as he saw Taylor emerge for the first time in her white dress.

I felt so lucky. I still do; it will never get old having the honor of witnessing the joy of seeing a couple take their next step together.

Oh yeah, and then they danced a lot!

August 22, 2015: watching the first dance of Angelena and Matt at Melrose Knitting Mill. Less than ten weddings under my own company. So much to learn. I’m lucky that a former bride has vouched for me and I’m sure that’s why I am here.

February 21, 2025: Ducking away to give a private moment to Elizabeth and Rob while their private last dance plays at Melrose. My former bride and pro planner has been the brain for yet another wonderful evening of joy and memories made. (I blacked the couple out of the picture because they didn’t ask to be in this post)

I am so lucky to be commemorating year ten in business, and lucky to still get to see friendly faces and beautiful places most weekends!
