In a little over three months from today, I will be welcoming you to the XX International Protea Association Conference & XV International Protea Research Symposium – ‘United by Proteas’ taking place here in California! This event will bring together protea researchers, farmers, enthusiasts and industry professionals from around the world to celebrate the beauty, diversity, and significance of this extraordinary plant family.

The 2025 conference promises to be one of the most vibrant and enriching yet, offering a unique blend of educational sessions, farm & nursery tours, and networking opportunities. We will be diving into cutting-edge research, exploring sustainable cultivation techniques, and discussing the latest innovations in the protea industry.

Whether you are a farmer or just beginning your protea journey, this conference will offer valuable insights and connections. Our venue The Temecula Creek Inn is nestled in the rolling hills of the Southern California wine country under the shade of broad oak trees, just minutes away from my protea farm.

As a designer, she has facilitated special projects and events for schools and non-profit organizations. She is currently building a floral farm, specializing in proteas. She is an active member of the California Protea Association, the International Protea Association, and she serves as SDFA 1st VP Programs Chair.
