I always want to post something that would be considered “good copy”. I want to post something thoughtful. I want to post something. Today brings such a mix of emotions for me.

I hold on to so much emotion, it’s a blessing and a curse. 23 years ago today, brave people tried to save lives, brave people lost their lives, and so much was lost.

This day is even harder coupled with the fact that my mom and her twin sister would be celebrating their birthdays today. Their deaths were not related to any of the events of that day, but everything all together makes today harder.

Love this beautiful cookie in all of its simplicity. Hug some loved ones, tell people you love them, carpe diem, seize the day.

7 years ago today, I said yes to being his girlfriend. 3 years and 7 months ago, I said yes to being his fiancé. 3 years and 4 months ago, we said I do. Seriously, still loving this married life, we still love each other. ♥️

It’s not easy to find a person that supports you, but tells you when you have lost your mind and you need to get yourself in check. Someone who understands you and chooses to work with you. Someone who will fight by your side in this crazy thing called life. They are there for the ups and downs, helping to create the laughter and ready to wipe all the tears and some boogies too. In life you find that people can add to your happiness, they cannot be your sole source of happiness because that needs to come from within. When you find your person the one that will help you to navigate becoming a better you. Helping you to get to the best version of yourself, keep them, grow with them, and enjoy what you have. To me life is about finding kindred spirits, your tribe. People will come and go from your life, it happens, but the ones that want to stay will keep coming back, fighting for their place. I could babble on for hours, but my point is MY person is all of this and so much more.

You have decided to love my weird ass forever and every day I am a better person because of it. Happy anniversary babe.

Since I posted about our first date anniversary yesterday, it’s the perfect time to bring back our cake from the first anniversary of our first date. Back in 2018, I made this cake and it was so much fun to come up with the design and create all the details.

The Tinkerbell inspired fairy Minion is Vanilla Oreo cake with Oreo buttercream. The Broncos Minion is made completely out of Rice Krispies and covered in chocolate ganache.

This year is the 25th anniversary of SpongeBob SquarePants. And apparently July 14th is his birthday (according to the show).

Reposting this fun set in honor of both of these events.

The heel was made of chocolate and Rice Krispies. The sneaker and the purse were cinnamon cake with Cinnamon Toast Crunch buttercream.

For National Sugar Cookie Day, we are still posting this graduation party dessert table. Is this a made up holiday…YES. But we choose to live life and celebrate it. CAUSE JOY!!! This set up was for my nephew Tayden, ordered by his mommy (also my business partner and best friend). He just graduated 6th grade. He wanted a basketball themed graduation party and that is what we delivered.
