Not sure how this made its it to me…so to anyone who sent this thank you sooo much! It is absolutely delicious. And the bottling and branding is gorgeous 😍 a very delicious olive oil that taste fresh and green with a peppery finish. this is amazing !

Little late (too busy😵‍💫) , but no less thankful for the people and all the opportunities that have come by way this year. Thankful for an incredible team who managed events in Southern California while another crew and I drove to the Bay Area to create a thanksgiving for an incredibly wonderful loving family. Sharing good food is my joy, and working for, and with, wonderful people is a great blessing. Thankful for all God has put in front of me, and grateful for the opportunity to share more.

Sage chicken and wild rice soup.

Perfect and nourishing on a fall day. Homemade brown chicken stock from organic bones, wild rice, sage infused chicken, little brown mushrooms and thyme on top. Leeks, carrots and kale….nothing better than homemade soup.

A very lovely amuse bouche. When this is starter, you know it’s going to be a good meal.

Dordogne Duck Confit with raspberry walnut salad.

I was so thrilled to prepare and serve this dish that I love. It is a classic from the Dordogne region of France where walnuts and duck are so popular.

The raspberries and walnut salad is a perfect pairing to the richness of the duck.

Love a good pasta starter. One large homemade raviolo with sweet ricotta, asparagus, crisped artichokes, pecorino toscano, and a little lemon confit.

Could be a Meal in itself. Or a great starter. Your choice.

-Pissaladière, cantaloupe gazpacho, saffron scallop.

Salad: Salmon Tartare with greens and crostini

Entree: Steak au poivre with fried artichokes, fava beans, and haricot verts

Dessert: raspberry sorbet and berries

Crunchy cheese, fatty peppered duck, little lemon on the greens.

Very simple and easy to make. Love when creativity and recipes come from ingredients in the fridge

Veal Chop with Roasted Onion Bernaise

Sides of Potatoes Anna, and a confit of Eggplant, Fennel and Sweet Peppers.

Exactly what you should have for your 80th birthday. Or any birthday really. A very sweet lady wasn’t sure what to have for birthday dinner. “What is your favorite?” I asked. “You know, my most favorite food to order at a restaurant is a veal chop and not many places serve it anymore….” “Then that’s what we make.”

That’s what it’s about. Cooking good foods to make memories for people.

Salmon tartar.

A little recipe testing today. Needs some toast points or crostinis for me. Homemade gravlax, homemade creme fraiche, minced cucumbers, sweet peppers, red onion, tarragon, dill. Horseradish.

Very delicious.
