The family fantastic Courtland Pear Fair is today!
The weather is going to be perfect and the homemade pear turnovers are absolutely delicious. Come on out to this Delta gem of a fun day! Jay Rollerz continues their tradition of kicking off the live music then North Forty at noon right after the Duck Calling contest :). Hip Service is on at three right after the parade and pear pie eating competition. Rounding out the fun day are the Mariachi Bonitas de Dinorah Klingler and you will love! It's the Pear Fair's 50th Anniversary and so much fun! Free admission but $20 parking. Every bit of profit goes to support Courtland's Fire Department. See you there!

Thursday's concert is cancelled. It sounds like everyone is doing whatever they can to resolve this so the rest of the season's concerts can happen as scheduled! We will post updates as they come.

Dear Friends of El Dorado Hills Town Center:

It has just come to my attention that the El Dorado Hills Town Center has not been sufficiently complying with the Department of Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) enforcement policies for the last several years during our Thursday summer concerts and our July 3rd events. We only learned of this after a tenant complained about such activities that warranted follow up discussions with them. This came as a surprise to us.

We take these matters very seriously and are evaluating what solutions we must comply with to eliminate or mitigate the issues altogether. These issues include but are not limited to consuming personal alcohol on site (alcohol brought from home or off site purchase) in the amphitheater, open container violations, allowing more than one proprietor to sell alcohol when only one is allowed to in the designated amphitheater area.

Because of the complexity of the issues and risk associated with them, we are cancelling the Thursday concert with the hope we remedy these matters quickly.

While we know these events are for the benefit of families and the community ,we must assess the risks and future programming and deploy appropriate solutions in the future.

We apologize for the disruption in your planned activities at the El Dorado Hills Town Center as we truly value our relationship with you. We will keep you informed and updated on our progress and next steps.
